My husband and I are both retired educators (English teachers and later administrators--deans. I retired last August after 26 years in the San Mateo Community College District, and my husband retired about 10 years ago after 35 years in the District. Sonoma is our #1 destination when we are not spending time at home or in LA with our new granddaughter (Brooklyn turns 1 on Feb 10. She is the easiest, most pleasant baby I have ever been with--no bias, of course). My cousin and her family have been living in Sonoma for 15 years or more, and we love to visit with them any time we are here. Now their daughter is getting married, and many relaatives are coming from Ohio and other places for the wedding. We are lucky enough to live in San Carlos, on the Peninsula, and so will not have as long a journey. We are looking forward to seeing relatives from back East, whom we haven't seen in years. This will be a happy occasion for us.
