30 year old, single, gay male with no pet(s) but pet friendly, living in New York, seeking a February 1st vacancy.
I'm in the market for an apartment of my own but need to save money to afford all the fees and expenses, so am looking for a temporary 1-3 month sublet while I pull all that together against the weight of a busy schedule.
I'm a student at Columbia attending class four days a week and on weekends I work as a bartender. I also work as a temp occasionally whenever I want extra cash, but am largely supported financially by my parents and family while in school.
My schedule's generally packed with a lot of commitments that generate major responsibilities, so I'm a pretty disciplined, mature and ambitious guy with a sharp focus on priorities. That said, I'm also a really sweet, easygoing, low maintenance, high protein kind of dude. I work hard and workout harder. I'm big-hearted, grounded and pragmatic, organized, clean and hygienic, considerate, super friendly, polite and sociable, reliable and, for the most part, predictable. I LOVE to laugh. I'm fun and funny. My mood is almost always set to "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." I'm helpful and supportive.
My creature habits are few. I'm easy to live with. I'm quiet but not too quiet. I don't smoke and I don't drink. I love to cook so spend A LOT of time in the kitchen; like the bathroom, I try to leave it as spotless as possible. Most of my meals require a blender, especially breakfast; something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to loud noises.
Chicago and Pittsburgh are home; I have family all over the country and friends all over New York and New Jersey. I love sports and fitness. I LOVE art so support the arts and cultural life in general. Free time to myself comes and goes, likewise the occasional boyfriend.
If you'd like to sublet a room in your home or building to a hardworking adult who feels like family, let's connect. Thanks for reading!
