we stayed 2 nights with my friend and we never saw Adam so i didnt wright any feedback about him but the dog was very friendly and sweet. The apartment was not clean too much, i saw dog shits on the gorund, i wanted to take a shower but i couldnt find any towel, i took a message to him for wifi password and thanx to him but he didint write me any wellcome message, just wrote the password. So, the only good thing is close to train and the lovely dog.
As so many others have noted, the "Nicest Apartment in Manhattan" headline quite possibly might be an understatement -- this is a top-notch room in a top-notch apartment in a top-notch neighborhood with a top-notch host. Adam was very kind and accommodating on extremely short notice, and was more than helpful when my flight in was delayed late into the night.
It was a great experience overall, from my inquires for availability to the actual stay. Adam promptly replies and he is extremely nice in every response and in person. I arrived late at night (and Adam was chill about it) yet I felt safe walking from the 168st station to his apartment. The place is lovely and the room is spacious and comfortable. I had to leave early in the morning so sadly I didn't get a chance to chat more or say goodbye.
Adam's place was convenient to stay at. It was a short walk to the 168th ave stop, which is a major stop that most of the lines run to. It seemed like a safe area and there were usually always people around.
The room that we stayed in was very large and fit me and my 2 friends comfortably. The air conditioning ran well and the wifi was speedy. The bathroom/shower was not something I was used to but it wasn't cramped at all and the sink was cool looking. We actually did not meet Adam until the 2nd or 3rd day we were there. His dogs were super friendly and adorable.
I would definitely stay there again. It's fairly affordable and convenient. The taxi ride from LGA to there costed 61 dollars with toll and tip and the car service to JFK costed 80 dollars after toll and tip. Me and friend tipped fairly well though or at least we thought so.
Public transportation to and from JFK takes about an hour and a half or less, I believe.
Adam has the loveliest apartment in a nice and safe neighboorhood close to the subway station. He also has the nicest dogs. Adam was really friendly and helpful during my stay. I would definitely stay with him again.
Oh my word this place is so clean. The guys have a couple of dogs but they are quiet and won't interrupt your stay. The bed is really comfortable and, despite being up on 170th, it's actually a good location for getting around as it's just a 5 minute walk to the A and C trains. The A train is the main one for getting to JFK airport so super ideal for tourists.
I had a great time at Adam's apartment. The apartment was only a few blocks from the A train 168 street station. Miles (dog) is just adorable, their apartment is gorgeous and clean.
Adam and Graham are great guys! Their apartment is gorgeous and clean. They are so used to share their space that you feel like you're roommates!
Miles (dog) is just adorable, didn't even bark at us when we came in.
Sorry we didn't get the chance to say goodbye...
Beautiful apartment and a very good and fast connection by train to downtown. The couple is very nice and friendly and we would go to that place again - always.
I had a wonderful stay at Adam's apartment. He and Graham were great hosts and along with their sweet dogs Miles and Brooklyn, I felt right at home. My room was large and the bed very comfortable. I also had my own TV. There was never any conflict with the bathroom and I had full use of the kitchen if needed. The location is close to the 168th subway stop and on the "A" train, you can be in Times Square in 20 minutes or so. The neighborhood has old charm and I felt safe walking home in the evenings. I plan on going to NYC again next year and I will definitely stay with them again
Hope u enjoyed ur visit to Myrtle Beach as much as we enjoyed hosting u guys. Thanks for keeping the place clean and tidy,
Adam and his friend Graham were great guests. The two unnecessarily--though very generously-- went out of their way to wash and fold the sheets and towels, and left the apartment immaculately clean. Though I wasn't able to spend a lot of time with them, Adam seemed like a cool and fun guy. I'd be happy to host either of them anytime.
Adam came with his Mom to look for his new apartment. They were great guests! I would enjoy having them again, but it looks like he's got his own space now!
I stayed at Adam's for one night. I had emailed a bunch of people asking about room availability, curfews, etc., and Adam was the most chill about everything. I had a great experience staying here and would definitely do so again. Big plus if you like dogs too.
