I like nature, plants, art and many other things.
Loved this place! The location is perfect only a short walk from the bars of Trastevere and you can even walk it to the Colosseum or the Vatican in under an hour. Room is very spacious and the bed comfy. Xi was a great host and everyone else in the flat was also really nice, including the pets
Xi was a positively wonderful host and the room was perfect for my needs! The location was excellent, with a coffee shop just around the corner, groceries a couple of blocks away, and plenty of great restaurants and pubs easily within walking distance. The wifi was fast and always worked. The room was spacious, clean, and just as advertised, and having access to a washing machine and a kitchen (with the occasional Italian cooking lesson no less) made for a very comfortable and hassle-free stay. Half the price of a hotel and twice the amenities; I would definitely recommend. Many thanks, Xi!
The perfect place to stay! I was working in Rome for 6 weeks in the summer and stayed here. The location is very convenient, right next to bus H (to Termini) and tram 8 (to Argentina and Piazza Venezia) which will bring you everywhere you need to be. It's a 15 minute walk from the center of Trastevere and about 20 minutes to Centro Storico with the Pantheon and great nightlife in Campo di Fiori. The area is quiet and I never felt unsafe. The facilities are good (kitchen, washing machine) and though there's no air conditioning the marble/cement apartment is very comfortable even in the summer. If you need a clean, quiet, and convenient place to stay, I highly recommend this apartment.
A really spacious room in a great location. The listing tells it true - lots of space, access to the kitchen and a peaceful, sharing environment. I highly recommend the space for those who need a good, clean, safe place to crash while in Rome. The No 8 Tram and H Bus are right at the end of the street and it is a 15 minute walk into the heart of Trastevere which is everything that you want Rome to be. The River is 20 mins walk away and most of the major Ancient sites are 30 mins - so if you just want to wander around (which I did) it is a wonderful place to be. Enjoy your stay in Rome :)
Stayed here for 5 nights December 2012. Good rooms, good facilities (kitchen and washing machine!). Location is about a 20-30 minute walk from the Pantheon, a 15 minute walk from a train station, in a nice area in Trastevere.
I ve been stayed there for 5 days, it was very, very uncomplicated and by the way: a good price.
best regards, Christian
I lived with Xi for two months while working in Rome over the summer. Xi was extremely welcoming and helped me get acquainted with the city when I first arrived. Xi creates a stress-free and laid-back environment in her home. Just off the main street in Trastevere, yet tucked against the tree-covered side of the hill, the apartment was a relaxing place to come home to after a busy day at work. Plus as someone who enjoys running, there are many parks and trails to explore in the area. The apartment is conveniently located just a 15 min walk from the heart of Trastevere. Plus, the tram and buses (which will take you practically anywhere in the city) are located right across the street from the apartment. There are several groceries stores and markets within walking distance and there is a washing machine in the bathroom. If you are in Rome during the summer, remember to bring bugspray. Also, no matter where you stay in Rome, if you are a light sleeper like me, I would highly recommend getting earplugs. My only concern during my stay was that the electrical outlets were a little loose from the walls.
Host replied fast and allowed me to stay on very short notice! The room was large and comfortable for the fee and the sheets were clean and prepared when I arrived. Everyone in the apartment was very nice and welcoming. I joined them on multiple nights during my week stay for meals — great group! It was a very short walk to the nightlife of Trastevere and from there all of old Rome is accessible. The only thing to note for people interested in the room is sometimes there are potent herb odors from one of the rooms next door that required me to close my windows to inhibit the smell until it went away. All in all, I had a great stay! Thanks Xi and Fatka!
Nice place, very central. The tram leads you in ten minutes Largo Argentina. The room is spacious and confortable.
I received a warm welcome.
i recommand this place !
Nice room in a lovely apartment in a great location. Flatmate Fatka was very friendly!
The house is particular and has a strong soul, I didn't personally stay there but I have a friend that still remember been there as one of the best experience in his life. The price is very reasonable and the location is great, close to the light rail and in the heart of Rome so you can go almost anywhere just by walking.
