This room was huge and super comfortable. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. Trustworthy public transportation makes it easy to arrive anywhere in short time. María is a REALLY kind and helpful person, but also completely unobtrusive, so you will feel immediately at home.
The 66 will take you in 20 minutes to Penfield and Côte des Neiges, and you can take it back just outside of the Guy Concordia metro station and you'll never get lost since it ends just across the street from Maria's house. Or you could take the 103 also across the street and take the subway in Villa Maria to get to the other side of the mountain.
The appartment is in a quiet and nice area though 20min from the metro station Villa Maria by bus. Bus N103 stops just in front of the house. There are also some shops around, Mc Donalds, RBC, post office and pharmacy.
The kitchen is well equipped as well as the room. The wifi connection is fast, but there is no TV. Maria is very helpful and kind host.
We had a great time in Montreal, Maria was very nice and left us our privacy to go and return in our own time. The room was exactly what we were looking for, very comfortable bed, closet, desk. If you main goal is to get to know the city and just have a quiet nice place to sleep this is for you. Bus stop is very near to the city. Thanks Maria!
I stayed here for 2 days during the holidays and it was perfect for me. Maria was hospitable and the room is quiet and comfortable. I will remember this place next time I stay in Montreal.
For me this accommodation was perfect. Maria is a warm and welcoming host. Clean, warm ( outside was minus 20!) comfortable place! The room has everything you need and the apartment is very close to bus stop. Booking was perfect, Maria responded immediately,
Thanks to Maria and her hospitality I
Thanks, Maria, for hosting my stay at your place! The room was great and the bed very comfortable. Your location is also excellent. I was able to walk the few blocks to the Henri Bradet senior residence to visit my mother.
Maria is a lovely and generous host. She was warm and friendly, and did everything in her power to help me feel comfortable and welcome. The place is clean with plenty of hot water. It is small, and I stayed in the room with the curtain, which didn't provide complete privacy. As I was out seeing my family every day, I needed nothing more. I walked around in her neighbourhood, which is a modest one. I never felt in danger there even when walking alone at night along many streets nearby. I am grateful to Maria for her kindness.
Maria was very prompt in replying and helpful in finding the place ( I got lost), she provided all information and helped for more details in Montreal (map, transport,...). She is very friendly and welcoming and respectful, I would come again anytime.
This is a great, less expensive place to stay if you're visiting Montreal and have a car (or at least I did, so I can't speak to public transit). Maria was very nice and the place was neat, as advertised, etc.
Thanks, Maria! :)
The room was inexpensive, so to expect too much would be unrealistic. The bed was very uncomfortable to the point that I moved out early and found another room. There was 2 rooms being rented, mine had no door, just a curtain as it was the living room of this apartment. She told me she replaced the mattress but I refused to go back as trying to find a place to park late at night was impossible, and the one night I parked on the street I received a ticket. I asked for a partial refund but have not got one. It would have been fair to get something back as I paid for 8 days and only stayed 2 but that was my experience here and I can live with it I guess.
We appreciate Maria renting our place for her friends. We hope to meet Maria one day and enjoyed her guests.
