The room is fantastic and absolutely a 5 star criterion. The view from windows is amazing. Mary is a nice host and I would highly recommend this place to every of my friends.
This is a lovely place to stay. The view from the room is amazing. It's right on the Thames. I could have sat there for hours! Mary was an excellent host and provided everything I needed including a lovely breakfast in the morning. I had no problems with my stay at all. The location is brilliant as well. Just a short walk from King's Road where I was working for 2 days. I was able to park too which is handy in London. I was very comfortable in the time I was there and would definitely stay again. Thanks Mary!
Nice view in bedroom.I didn't take breakfast --which she provides-- and had only met her briefly twice. We communicated by emails in which she made sure I had everything I needed.
I booked a night staying at Mary's on a hospitality basis for two guests for work. They were both really impressed with the location (a very short walk from where they needed to get to) the decoration, presentation and cleanliness of the room, the views and with being able to check-in in the day. I will certainly book again for any guests we have to host at work! Thank you Mary.
Mary was most welcoming on the wettest of nights ( I hadn't realised thatBattersea fireworks were about to happen with all the ensuing traffic chaos .This had made access to the apartment temporarily difficult by anything other than by foot) The venue itself is in a quiet modern estate by the river set within a residential area of London. The room has a fabulous view of the ever changing river, there being only a pedestrian walkway between it and the (website hidden) is a short walk to Battersea bridge and therefore provides easy access to the Kings and Fulham roads.
The room was clean and very comfortable and although I only had occasion to see Mary for a few minutes ,she immediately offered and provided me with honey and lemon for a very lost voice! I really appreciated the kindness. Breakfast was simple, good and delicious. Organic yoghurt, muesli, fruit ,toast and tea - but I am sure she would have gone out of her way to provide anything had I requested it. Thank you for a really comfortable stay.
Mary is an angel. The reviews and the pictures do not exaggerate - staying here is simply luxurious. I stayed in Mary's home several days, and unfortunately had a few personal stresses pop up during that same time. Mary went out of her way every single day to make sure I felt cozy and at home, and took care of my every need. I really felt so comforted and comfortable being there, and could not imagine asking for a better Airbnb experience. My stay started with an unexpectedly very late arrival (near 1am) and Mary nevertheless greeted me with nothing but incredible warmth and patience. My first morning there I had an important meeting to get to, and was a bit frantic when I couldn't get a cab - Mary's son Hugo absolutely came to my rescue! He made a call to a different cab service, giving them specific instructions to find me, and really saved the day. The breakfast laid out each morning was just delightful, there is an electric kettle in the bedroom (amazing for me, as I am a big tea drinker), and the bedroom is bright, so cushy, and perfect. The bathroom (you have your own) is clean and very spacious. I was fearful that the location of the house was not as central as I would like - but I was wrong. The location is actually fantastic, and despite there being no tube that is super close, the bus is unbelievably easy and convenient (I quickly favored the 19, as it stays very central, but there are several that will do the trick). If you come to London and want to feel safe and pampered, stay here.
All I can say is that I have not enough words to describe how well I felt staying at Mary’s place. It was literally my home for 32 days, and every night of my stay in London I looked forward to going back "home”. My room with a private bathroom had a magnifique view of the Thames river. Mary’s home was very quiet and peaceful. The room was lovely decorated, the bed was quite comfortable and there was a variety of teas and coffee in my bedside that I could use whenever I wanted. A delicious breakfast served with beautiful table settings and a river view was a wonderful way to start my days. All members of Mary’s family were very polite and respectful. I highly recommend Mary’s "riverside charming double bedroom”, located a few minutes from a bus station, the beautiful Battersea park and the exciting Chelsea neighbour. I would certainly stay there again if I have another opportunity.
The room is like 5 star hotel . The view is amazing. The sunset and the sunrise from the room is like dreams. The bed so comfortable , the bath room 5 star , the breakfast healthy and excellent . On top of all that Mary is nice , helpful , and available for advices . She is really doing her best to let feel like home with all the care.
I really recommend this place for romantic staying.
Many thanks Mary
