My partner Leah and I have recently returned from the East Coast where Leah had a position with the FoodCorps (think AmeriCorps but with kids and teaching them healthy eating) and are now temporary settled in Green Bay, WI while we figure out our next move.
Both of us love to travel and on the hit list there's Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, Austin and Marfa, TX, and all of Europe. One day, one day.
In terms of favorite things, we are both infatuated with New York City. While on a two week roadtrip we also discovered a love of Asheville, NC and Ithaca, NY. Leah is highly interested in sustainable food culture and nutrition for she started a campus garden in college. She is also obsessed with the Beastie Boys and the The Hives. I myself absolutely love to read and listen to anything ranging from Fleetwood Mac to early Janet Jackson to Jenny Lewis. And oh, I love plants. Growing up in a greenhouse setting instilled that in me, I guess.
As for us as guests, we are totally respectful of another's property for we'd want the same in return. When we travel, we typical jam-pack our days full of activities (for who knows when we'll be able to make a repeat visit) so the chances of us bumming around your place for long periods of time are slim. We'll gladly take your local recommendations and hey, if you like going out for a drink, that will probably be in our joint future.
Any other questions, just ask!
