Ciao sono Marys, affitto il mio appartamento a Roma. Date un'occhiata alle mie recensioni se volete scoprire qualcosa in (website hidden) aspetto!
Very comfortable & clean.
Extremely gracious host.
Not too far from centre, near to public transport (bus) lines.
Upstairs neighbour is a bit noisy.
Well worth the price.
Marys was immediately helpful, with great communication and met me at the train station, even at a late hour. She then gave me a great tour of the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment itself was fantastic, with a lot of room, all the amenities, internet and comforts you would need. Marys keeps an immaculate place, extremely clean and had a lot of cookware and things if you want to choose to make food yourself.
She also supplied me with a Frommer's Guide and detailed directions on how to use the public transport system - invaluable advice! The apartment itself is actually very conveniently located, and only a relatively short (albeit crowded) bus trip to Ancient Rome and the Vatican. I had a great stay here and would recommend it highly!
We had a great stay in this beautiful apartment! The apartment itself had everything you could need, was comfortable, well furnished and the wifi was fast. It was only a short bus ride from the centre of Rome/Termini - 10/15 mins. Marys was a fantastic host, she gave us some great tips and showed us where everything was in the local area. We would definitely recommend!
A great deal !! Marys apartment is very well furnished and very practical and comfortable. Its ideally located with shops justat the end of the street and buses to the city or train station. Marys was very helpful and kind, the best host in our entire stay in Italy. She waited for us as we arrived late due to the car rental company delay. She gave us a map of the city with important bus routes marked, walked us to show and explain the bus stops, shops, the pizza slices shop is worth trying we bought a small piece of all the different pizza !!! We had no problem finding parking in front of the house but didnt use the car in rome. When i first saw the street from outside i was a bit apprehensive but it very safe as we walked home late two nights and there was no problem. The building where the apartment is new and very modern and safe. Rome like any other big city can have many shady areas so be careful when u book an apartment. This apartment is sure a safe one. 4 people can easily sleep in two different rooms which are also lockable. There is a portico / verandah that leads out from the kitchen for smokers like me ;) The beds were comfortable and the linen provided. The stove worked but we didnt use it much.
It is unbelievable how such an apartment is available at the price it is. When we return to rome we wont think twice before staying here again.
Great place to stay and would highly recommend this. Quite a bit of savings over a hotel and very spacious. My friend and I needed to travel around and outside Rome for our visit and had rented a car. This was a great apartment for us:
- Marys was very quick with her responses and we easily arranged our arrival and departure via text and email. She gave very very useful instructions for arriving to the nearest station at nomentana from FCO airport (8 Euro, 50 min ride on FR1 line toward Orte). She helped with some great recommendations about nearby markets and restaurants!
- apartment is on first floor of the building right by the front door so we didn't need to struggle with our bags or a lot of steps.
- not too much trouble finding free street parking right in front of the building, even when returning late at night.
- quite large -- she has an entryway, small kitchen, spacious bedroom with double bed and closet space, second room with fold- out sofa bed, and nice sized bathroom with hot water.
- strong wifi connection
- short drive to some great restaurants. (We didn't try walking so can't comment on walkability)
Just be aware:
- gets warm on hot days, but there are fans
We stayed in Marys' apartment for 5 days, it was very kind that she came to meet us from the bus stop as the complex is a bit out of sight. There are two major bus stops you can get up to three buses back in to Termini or the centre of Rome.
LOCATION: The location was fair, we definitely knew it was not the centre of Rome however the buses were always crowded and infrequent at the best of times.
APARTMENT: Apartment is on the first floor however there is a flight of stairs to get to the main entrance so travelers with heavy bags take note! It was spacious, and the bed was comfortable with good pillows (something that was extra nice following the last few stays of bad lumpy pillows!) The wifi was a bit hit and miss but that's a technology issue, nothing too important. One negative factor was the apartment was ridiculously hot compared to outside, although Marys did provide two pedestal fans for us when we asked.
We loved staying at Marys appartment & she was very helpful to us just a sweetheart ! Easy access by bus to the centre & & we loved the local (website hidden) we only use the main living area it was more than enough for two. :))
We had a fabulous stay at Marys place. It is very clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and convenient for traveling to the city center. It has two rooms, a spacious bathroom, and kitchen/dining area.
Marys was very sweet. She met us at the nearby train station upon our arrival, and also showed us around the neighborhood afterwards. We highly recommend this place, especially for people who are looking to stay some place nice and don't mind taking a short bus or train ride to reach the attractions in Rome. We enjoyed having the kitchen for fixing a quick breakfast in the morning. The neighborhood around the apartment also has nice places to east at. There is also a supermarket close by (that Marys was kind enough to showed to on day one). The nearest bus stop and train station are 5 and 10 min, respectively, by walking.
Overall, our experience was very pleasant!
Marys has treated the appartment with care. It was very easy to communicate with her snd she has left the place in a perfect way. I hope that you ve had a great time in berne!
