I'm originally from Los Angeles, but most people guess I'm from the East Coast. I lived in Madrid, Spain for 2 years and have made the Bay Area my home since 1996, plus 4 years in Santa Cruz in the late 80's. I love getting out into nature, hiking, jumping on to one of our kayaks, singing, and COOKING. Yes, I am an amazing natural foods chef. So, if my schedule permits cooking while you're here, be prepared to get fed!
I can't live without:

4. Hot springs
5. Playful connection and deep conversation.
I've travelled to islands where I've lived in caves, cruised the Caribbean with 1300 vegans, eaten Paella on the beaches of Spain, flown in planes to Burning Man, and soaked in the best of natural hot springs in the Eastern Sierras. Some of my best memories traveling were with an organization that linked me up with hosts in Italy - that was magical to find myself instantly connected to the local's insider secrets and experiencing a sense of home while on the road. If I can return the gift, I'm grateful to do so.
My life mottos: Serenity is underrated. Progress, not perfection.
