I'm born and raised in Finland, nut having always been a tumbleweed at heart I now call the seductress that is New Orleans home!
Mia is a superb host. She supplied us with eggs, OJ, milk, coffee, etc. The photos don't do the property justice. It's much larger then it appears on the site.
I was traveling with 3 friends and she supplied us with a couple extra air mattress'.
Perfectly located between the Quarter and Audobon Park in the Irish Channel area of the Garden District. A quick walk to Tracey's, Juan's Flying Burrito, and other restaurants and shops.
We all would definitely stay here again.
Mia's a great host--very chill and helpful--and the house is amazing! It's an old grocery store transformed into a beautiful modern home. Loved it!
Mia is the best host I've had using AirBnB. She ensured that I enjoyed my stay in N.O. The place is beautiful and has great character. I would definitely stay here again.
The reservation was canceled 19 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This place was awesome and Mia was a wonderful host. It seemed like it was out of a tv show. I would defiantly come back again
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Mia was wonderful and really went out of her way to make us comfortable, going so far as to bring me special food to accommodate my food allergy. The decor in the apartment is great and I especially enjoyed the old school Chambers stove just like I grew up with!
There is an industrial building right next door with what I believe to be a loud air conditioning unit that appears to run on weekdays. It didn't really bother us, but if you're a light sleeper it might. The specific street is a little industrial, but it's very close (5 min walk) to Magazine street which has great bars and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.
I miss New Orleans and this apartment too! Went with a group of friends and we all loved it. Very traditional apartment with great rooms and a spacious living room. The apartment has some NOLA details that make it unique. My favorite part of the apartment was the porch, where we would all gather every evening for a beer before venturing out into town. Mia was a great host and committed to ensure we had a great stay. Safe to say that she succeeded.
Mia was a WONDERFUL host! The house is just as pictured. Fresh sheets and clean house! The house and rooms are very spacious. Mia communicated with us the entire weekend and is very friendly. We stayed during Superbowl weekend and the location was perfect! It was only a 10 minute car ride to Canal street and the French Quarters! There is also a trolley that is approx. 4-5 blocks away (walking distance) and that worked out great when trying to avoid finding parking downtown. Overall, it was a great place at a great price!
