I love visiting and spend time in New Orleans. I would live there full time if I could. I love everything about the French Quarter.

What a wonderful trip to New Orleans to celebrate the start of a new year! Sherry's loft was perfect for the two of us - it had everything we needed and we felt perfectly safe in the area!
I'll admit - when we first got into the French Quarter, we were a bit hesitant staying outside of a hotel since one of the first things we saw were signs in people's windows saying to be sure to walk in large groups since they need more police in the area! Once we spent one night in Sherry's place, we felt so at home!
Really - you can't beat the location of this loft! It's in a safe area, but far enough away from the noisy sections of Bourbon St, so you can actually get some sleep to prepare yourself for the next day of festivities!
I would absolutely want to stay in Sherry's loft again the next time we visit New Orleans. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and also gave us some wonderful suggestions of places to try in the area.
Location, location, (email hidden)ar all and with nice kitchen, bath &relaxing courtyard. Sherry was always available prior to, during and after our stay.
I have never met a better communicator than Sherry. Her responses were fast, relevant, accurate and filled with useful information about the loft and New Orleans. The location of the loft is probably the best in the French Quarter, which is the only place to be in New Orleans! A 2 minute walk to cafes, bars, restaurants, and the centre of the action yet a quiet retreat once it's time to come home. The loft bed needs a bit of getting used too, particularly if you visited a lot of bars .......and there is no wi-fi there. We stayed connected courtesy of a nearby cafe, CCs. All up a wonderful stay and a fantastic hostess.
Sherry was an excellent host and gave us an amazing place to stay while in New Orleans. The apartment was clean, in a great location and was just perfect for us. I would definitely recommend to any that's traveling to the area.
The place was just as described - small but very quaint, clean, and in an excellent location in the French Quarter.
Close enough to the action but far enough away as to not be noisy.
Sherry was a great host. She had the place clean and ready for us and was responsive throughout.
I'd definitely recommend this place for a couple. The only word of caution is to make sure your agile enough to get up and down from the loft where the comfy bed is and in to the clawfoot tub and shower.
We will definitely return!
This was our first time using Airbnb, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Sherry was a most gracious host, the loft was just as we expected and the location was perfect. The loft is only a couple of blocks from Louis Armstrong Park, half a dozen blocks from the French Market, and on a quiet residential street. The Tempurpedic bed was perfect after our days walking the Quarter and points beyond the loft offers cable TV, a small coffee maker and refrigerator for evening vivations and morning coffee. Rouses Market is two block over and two blocks down that is a pretty good all purpose market, and the Clover Grill is just 2 blocks over for as good a breakfast as you will find. There is also a courtyard in the middle of the building with table and chairs that is lovely in the evening when the weather is nice. We would recommend this loft to anyone looking for a great space, in a great location, and which has a great host.
Sherry is a wonderful host with a lovely and well-maintained French Quarter pad! She was extremely gracious during the check-in process and was able to answer any questions at a moments' notice. Her apartment is in an ideal location (easily walkable to Bourbon Street and the rest of the Quarter, but far enough back to get some peace and quiet when needed). The space itself is clean, air conditioned (a must for a true refuge in NOLA) and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone passing through who is looking for a true slice of New Orleans!!
The property owner far exceeded expectations - Sherry is responsive, friendly, informative about the neighborhood, and really interested to see that we had a great experience in her loft. We were in the loft for 11 day for JAZZ Fest and could not have been in a better location - the property is 20 minute by bike to the Fairgrounds, a 5-8 minute walk to Cafe du Monde, 10 minutes to French Street, and almost any place in the French Quarter. Taxis are uaually availible at Dumaine and Rampart (2 minute walk) when needed. The loft was super clean and comfortable for a couple
This was my first time using Airbnb and Sherry set the bar high for other hosts! Everything went as planned. Sherry is incredibly fast to respond to questions, etc. The apartment is clean and quaint. The location & price can't be beat. Several times we would just walk back to the apartment to use the restroom when we were barhopping (and perhaps we'd grab another drink to-go while there). If it's just two adults, I'd totally recommend this place.
This was perfect for my weekend getaway with 2 friends. All hotels were booked and this was the closest we could get to Bourbon - which is quite close, really. I am familiar with the area so it was a no brainer. The apartment was just as described, and Sherry was very accurate in how to go about getting in, and handling the keys etc.
The only hiccups were that the previous guests lost one of the house keys. So we were unfortunately left with one, which makes things a challenge with 3 ppl with various levels of stamina for New Orleans. With quick Apt turnaround, Sherry did not know this until i told her. Not much anyone could do and we moved on and had a great time regardless.
The other minor issue was the shower hot water, which had a hard time maintaining consistency. it would jump from hot to luke many times during a shower. I say its minor because eh... you just deal with it and get dressed and go see New Orleans.
Sherry is a fun and really nice host, and was willing to jump in and help out at late hours, etc. (we had a late check in when we discovered the key issue). The place is a cool little loft with some unique New Orleans flavor. I'd totally stay here again.
