Everyone is aware of the fact that sometimes pictures are deceiving and this rental property is the true example of that. You don’t get what you see in the pictures, so I would say do not have high expectations from this place given that the price is also cheap. I myself did not know that the place I was promised was the same one as the one I was given.. The place is located in so called Ghetto area and there is not much to do around...Not that safe for the girls, who would like to leave there alone.. The internet wifi was good but room was dirty with half of the furniture broken.. My bed was setup for me after I arrived at that property and that was also half broken.. I did not get any bed sheets or comforter.. The pillow was provided when I asked for it..It was really freaking hot and there was not fan provided.. The washroom was kept dirty and there was no toilet paper.. This is the place only for one overnight stay and not for long term stay.. I do not think the price you are paying is worth it for this type of room.. At this price you might get much nicer room in a hostel or something.. Giuseppe was nice guy who help a bit but the help was limited.. I honestly did not had best time living at this property for two days.. At the end I was say “Please rent this property at your own risk”
The place is not accurate, it is further than I though, located in the area that I nervous to walk alone. In the description, they said their have A/C but no where to be found in my room. No hot water for shower or even warm. They did not give us the blanket, this was an issue because at night there has a lot of mosquito, me and my friend could not sleep all night.
Giuseppe replied to my emails daily before I made the booking, after that I received his reply only every 4-7 days. He asked me when I was going to arrive in Milan and give him a call once I am there. I told him I would be there at 4 PM. At 4:30 I was at the given address (which was not the address of the apartment) and Giuseppe came down only half an hour after our call... We had to go with his car to take the bedding from another hostel (!) and then he drove us to the apartment. Giuseppe had to clean and prepare the room (another half hour) while we changed our clothes in the other room. The lock was broken, there was no toilet paper and no bed cover, when we asked for it, we had to wait 0.5 hour more for him to bring them from the aforementioned hostel. He brought us a padlock to use with the door. What is more, only 2 photos were true from 8 provided (kitchen and bathroom), the room we stayed in is not in the photos.
If You read through this far, You should understand that Giuseppe takes his time to do everything and if You are in a rush (as were we, having planned everything hour by hour for 24 hours), You may be highly disappointed. If You are from the South, where life pace is much slower, You may be OK with how Giuseppe handles things. Having to wait 90-120 minutes is not what I had expected before coming to Milan, but as I said, the delay of 4-7 days in email communication was a sign of things to come.
All in all, I would highly discourage anybody from booking this property. We paid 35 EUR for 2 persons, while we felt like staying in 15-20 EUR place instead.
Giussepe was a nice guy, he offered to cook for us some pasta and he speaks Spanish quite well. The location is good, really close by subway to the center, restaurants and shops.
The room is large, but it was so hot to stay there (august) and not too much clean in general.
This room is value for money, quiet and fully equipped. The location is wonderful near metro and central station. I highly recommend this place if you stay in Milano.
The place is well located but not really clean. Moreover it was very hot in the room !
The room is nothing special neither good nor bad, but as the price is low, so it's quite reasonable.
-I arrived at Barcelona almost at night, and the landlord picked me up from the central station (I had to wait for him ~40min though)
-you have a key from your room, so you can lock it and not worry about anything
-the room has big balcony
-towels and linen provided
-The landlord didn't even come to take the keys back, though we settled that he'd come at 1 pm. when after waiting for 40 min we finally managed to call him, he said that he totally forgot about that.
-the room has no conditioning so it's pretty hot there even at night
i'd recommend the place to those who need just a place to sleep and really worry about their time
I turned up in Milan very late, nearly midnight, but Guiseppe came to me as fast as he could and let me into a lovely 4 bed dorm. A high standard for what is essentially a Hostel The location was less than a 10 minute walk in a straight line from central station. Which I was lucky enough to have to myself. Its off the street, and during my time was quite enough for a good nights sleep (the Aircon helped!) Lovely bathroom and small Kitchen facility, and only a few minutes to the red and green metro lines. Some people reviewed it as being not close to town, but its not that bad, and its certainly worth it if your looking for a good nights sleep!
Guiseppe was great, very friendly. The location is perfect to explore Milan, close to the rail station and metro and bus stations it is very easy to get from the airport and the city.
Very simple room. Fine if you are just looking for a place to sleep. Not the best neighbourhood.
