I am a recent college grad from Indiana University-Indianapolis. I've lived in Indianapolis my whole life and would like to learn more about the culture of my hometown as well the world around. I have done some travelling in my limited life span and had some amazing experiences. I have been to Wroclaw, Poland for a short study abroad, where my opened my eyes to lifestyles out of the USA and the importance of history. I also spent many summers out west working at Philmont Scout Ranch, in a living history environment where I learned to live primitively on a working homestead. I have traveled all over the USA. I am a lifelong scout. I was in Girl Scouts for 12 years and volunteered with the Boy Scouts for past 5 years. It has taught my respect, patriotism and give me the confidence to try to new things and learn to love the land I call home.
I can't live without my two wonderful growing humorous siblings, which are also my best friends, a good book, some great music, laughter and opportunity to grow! I love trying new food, and Greek food has been my favorite so far!
I love traveling distance, but I think it is important to learn to love your home. Which brings me to my favorite quotes, "To love where you are going you must love where you are at now".
