Semi retired electrical contractor, Used book store owner, apt owner. Two daughters and 5 grandsons from Norway to California. My wife Pam, who has 4 grown sons, and I live in a small town in the mountains of northern California near the Oregon border. We are heavily involved in community volunteer work and have travelled extensively. We are remodeling our house now. I've done a lot of river rafting including the Grand Canyon and canoeing a section of the Zambesi River in Zimbabwe. A fourth generation native Californian on both sides of my family. I love books and own way too many of them. One of my favorites is "A Time For Gifts" by Patrick Leigh Fermor. Non fiction a pre world war two travel memoir of a dream trip through 1933 Europe on foot.
My wife Pam is founder and owner of a small parenting magazine in Upstate California and she runs the Siskiyou Arts Council's Arts Bus Program for children, I help keep the old bus running and drive it sometimes to engagements. I'm also on the board of our local ecology center.
My oldest friend whom I have known since I was 12, I met in the Boy Scouts and he (and others) say I am still a Boy Scout.
