Originally from the East Coast, my husband Craig and I have been happy residents of Potrero Hill for almost ten years. We live on a great block with our son Reno and our dog Chewbacca.

Our stay in Potrero hill was perfect! The studio was clean and the view was amazing. Exactly what we were looking for, for our short stay in San Francisco. Only negative thing is we didn't have more time to spend in the studio and walking around San Fran!
We had a wonderful experience in this beautifully designed basement apartment. Big comfy bed, huge bathroom, clean modern vibe throughout. I did the short (but steep) walks to both the Mission and Portrero Hill neighborhood cafes, restaurants and shops every day. Annabrooke made us feel very welcome on this kid and dog friendly neighborhood hill. The breakfast granola, tea and milk in the fridge were gracious and deeply appreciated. Like everywhere in San Francisco, parking was difficult, next time we will ask if it's possible to buy guest parking passes for the area? Thanks for being such wonderful hosts and we'll be back.
We loved the contemporary style decor
This studio was SO great! There was so much thought and care that went into making this a comfortable space. Annabrooke should teach a course on how to make your airBnB space awesome :) Well played.
And the bath tub is amazing! If it weren't for the current CA drought, I would have taken one every evening, but I contained myself.
This studio is a great find. Excellent location, cool design touches, and an extremely comfortable king-sized bed. We were only there for one night, but it was a very pleasant stop on our Bay Area road trip. Recommended.
Had a great stay at Annabrooke's place; just as described - nice view, quaint backyard that was perfect as we had our small dog with us. Not a full kitchen, but that was known up front. Also, loved the deli down the street (deli 23 I think). Parking was a pain, but that's SF for you. I heard afterwards that you can get a temporary parking permit, but not certain if that's true.
If so, that would be good info to post.
We had a great 2 nights in Potrero Hill. The studio was so clean, modern and gorgeous. It was also the perfect location close to the mission. Beautiful views from the patio and the most comfortable bed ever. Annabrooke is such a lovely host, you will not be disappointed!!
Great stay at a great studio. Private, close enough walk to the mission and Potrero hill.
Annabrooke's studio is lovely - I had a really enjoyable time staying there for the last few days of a long work trip. The view and back porch swing are a nice bonus, and the key feature (for me) was the spa-like bathtub and shower! How luxurious and delightful. Since it's a basement studio apartment, you do hear the family upstairs, but I never had any major sound issues that prevented me from enjoying my stay, and most importantly, my sleep. The place is just like the pictures which was nice. Annabrooke left a nice welcome kit with snacks, coffee and wine along with a book of favorite places to eat, which was a bonus!
My stay with Annabrooke wasn't my first, and certainly won't be my last. After being greeted with some wine, sparkling water, chocolate, and granola, I totally crashed for an hour in the tub after a long day of flying. Annabrooke's view at night is particularly superb- you can catch the fog rolling in through the city lights if you know where and when to look. Overall- I really wouldn't trade this for the world.
Annabrooke was an excellent guest!!! It was easy to communicate with her and she left the flat spotless. I recommand her with no hesitation.
I've known Annabrooke since 1999. She's the best host - warm, gracious, down to earth and above all, fun. The Potrero Hill location has easy parking - with multiple spaces to choose from - and is close to the bustling Mission and downtown. Best of all, the suite is so peaceful and quiet that you can't hear street noise. It has a gorgeous view of the city lights, and a luxury bathroom. The bathtub is to die for. I'd highly recommend the space.
I have been friends with Annabrooke since 1998. She is a long-time SF resident and gracious host, with an intimate knowledge of fun things to do in and around the city. Her charming home has amazing views, a spacious garden and is located on a quiet, family-friendly street, with lots of free street parking (a rarity in most parts of SF!). The house is conveniently located in Potrero Hill, within short walking distance to both the Mission district and Potrero Hill's 18th St neighborhoods. We recently stayed with her for a few days in her attic BR/living space, while our bathroom was being remodeled, and she made sure we were quite comfortable! I think her home would be an excellent home-base for those wanting to explore SF by either public transit or car.
