My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Emma's loft. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The tempurpedic bed was a nice touch, and my wife enjoyed the quality equipment in the kitchen. Emma was very friendly and responsive every time we communicated with her. In fact, when some maintenance men came to do a few repairs while we were there, they told us Emma is one of their favorite tenants and they like to take extra-good care of her place. :)
Every neighbor we came across was very friendly, and the apartment was located close to the hospital where I spent my month rotation and to lots of fun restaurants. We would definitely recommend Emma's place!
A wonderful experience!! Emma was an amazing host and was always there to help us with technical difficulties throughout our stay. The loft is spectacular. Very cozy and near downtown. The loft came stocked with all needed supplies, even some comfy bathrobes!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Louisville.
We loved staying in Emma's cozy apartment and getting to meet her while we were in Louisville. Her place is great. In a wonderful restored building and near to both downtown and the great shopping and dining options on places like Bardstown Road. We'd love to stay with her again!
Emma's a badass...can I write that? just did.. OK, I was there for business for 9 days... I landed in Loo'ville on a Friday AM, went to office thinking i was all good with (email hidden)tally forgot to pay online, no probs..Emma emailed me at like 4:00 reminded me...then hand delivered the key at 5:45PM and gave me a personal tour even though she had dinner plans that evening...oh yeah, she was just back from a 3 week european biz trip...wha what!! straight up good people...The building and loft is sick; old tobacco warehouse from late 1880's..the bones on this place are amazing...located about 5 mins from Bardstown, Market/Main St. Place is extremely comfortable, great views of downtown, has everything. Kitchens loaded so all you foodies out there can cook up the local goodness from the farmers market down the road..I've found my hotel replacement for my biz trips..Thanks for the hospitality Emma!!
Beautiful loft space in an old factory with great bones. We had a marvelous time. We would rent from Emma again.
Had a wonderful stay. Emma met me in the morning, gave me the key and showed me around. Apartment was just a few blocks from NULU and east market districts. Beautiful spot, neighbors were nice, no complaints. Thanks again Emma, it was great.
Fantastic stay. Emma was extremely accommodating and even had brochures and other information on local events/ businesses/ transportation/ etc. Loved the urban feel of the loft and its proximity to downtown. Thanks Emma!
Louisville was a real treat. I wish I had allowed more time to visit.
The loft was a fantastic place to stay. On check-in Emma showed us everything and left us complimentary snacks like chocolates and sparkling juice. The apartment has everything you need and more, with the only minor downsides being that you can sometimes hear the neighbours through the floors (only occasionally) and there aren't local bars/restaurants in the area. We had a car so that wasn't a problem, and it is only a 20 minute walk into downtown for more nightlife etc.
Emma = Awesome! I left my cell phone in a cab on the way over to her place, and she and her friend helped me get it back the very next morning. The place itself is very nice! The light is wonderful through those windows, and Emma has thought of pretty much everything you could want. I was there for a conference at the Convention Center, and it was very workable getting back and forth walking and with Yellow Cab. As another reviewer mentioned, you will probably note the loudness of the air conditioner, and then just become accustomed to it. Would definitely stay there again!
Emma was an awesome host. She was very accommodating of our arrival time and was super insightful about the neighborhood. You can tell that she cares for her guests and for the super cool loft she rents. A+ to Emma and the space!!
Great guest, very easy-going and considerate of our place. Would be happy to have back anytime.
Very very cool people... I had troubles getting the apartment ready for her and she was a saint about it. A real good person
Emma was a wonderful guest. She took excellent care of the apartment and left it very clean. Emma was easy to communicate with and I would gladly have her stay again. I recommend her.
Our door will always be open for Emma :-)
Emma is a really friendly and kind person. It was really easy to communicate with her, a really good recommandation!
Thank you Emma you stay in my house, i hope all my future guests to be like you.
All the best and see you soon.
Emma was the ideal guest! She took great care of my space and even washed the towels she used! That was the first time a guest has EVER done that. Setting up a check-in time was easy and she seemed very sweet. I unfortunately was not able to meet her at check-in but my friend had a positive review. I would absolutely have Emma back in the CABIN!
Emma is a sweet girl...a pleasant guest !
unfortunately i did not see the girls so often ...since they were exploring the city.
But i can say...very simple and laid back and it was a pleasure to meet them.
hope i meet you again here in the lofts or in kentucky :)
thx emma and tara !
Wow, if you get this loft, you are getting a great deal. It's in the perfect location, it's clean, and it's close to everything. The climate controlled garage is awesome. If you are a hipster or 'urbanite," you want to stay here! It's close to all the restaurants that are hip, as well as close to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby. The city is easy to navigate if you have a car or if you're using public transportation. It's a gated loft building and I would stay here everytime I'm in Louisville. She even provided a little welcome package that had city maps and info about local attractions which was much appreciated.
