We booked the loft for a wedding reception at the Pressroom, a nearby restaurant. The location was fantastic and Noah welcomed us at the time agreed. He showed us the room and was available to answer any questions. Lancaster has a lot to offer beyond the kitschy Amish scene- though that's fun too!!
Our stay at Carol and Noah's fantastic house in the centre of downtown Lancaster was a real treat during our trip. We were only there for 3 nights but the room and house were perfect for our needs. Carol put up with our endless questions cheerfully and gave great recommendations on local favourites (Central market, great place for coffee, beers, Monday night football etc). With the addition of secure parking available and wifi - it was a wonderful place to base ourselves in the area.

I loved my stay. The house is full of character and the hosts were great. Especially I appreciated coffee in the morning! The place is so conveniently located in the center of the city, I could get everywhere by foot. Parking place the hosts gave me access to was something I couldn't do without. Thanks guys, I will definitely come back when in the area.
Beautiful and spacious home in charming, safe Bay The immesh town. We didn't have any issues at all
Noah and Caitlin were very accommodating. They have a beautiful, clean home, easy to access from the convention center, and with no schedule problems. They were friendly and professional and even provided breakfast. I would definitely recommend other travelers stay with them.
I was so excited to find this quaint and funky place on Airbnb, and my expectations were met and exceeded once I got there! This cozy loft was the perfect respite that I was looking for. I didn't see much of Noah and Caitlin during my 3 day stay and I felt like I had the whole place to myself. Caitlin welcomed me on my arrival, and I was treated later that night to homemade pear pie (yum!). The main shared bathroom was completely cleaned out and made to feel like my own. Each morning I came downstairs to a light breakfast of cereal and tea/coffee waiting for me. Parking was off site in a gated parking area, but was literally only a minute walk away - very convenient. There were lots of brochures and helpful tips waiting in the loft and even more helpful tips from Caitlin when our paths crossed.
The online description wasn't kidding that you're right in the heart of historic Lancaster. Walking, I was only minutes from everything I'd wanted - cute shops, awesome coffee, architecture and history that made it hard to keep my eyes in front of me. I walked for hours popping in and out of stores, peering through windows and enjoying amazing food. I, unfortunately, missed out on the Central Market but that just means I'll have to go back some day. :)
I could not have asked for a more perfect place to enjoy a few days away.
While I on the road heading to Lancaster, Noah and his girlfriend Caitlin checked in with me to ensure my safe arrival. Caitlin greeted me and showed me around this quaint - and well located - home.
The loft was nicely appointed and tidy. Brochures along with dining/nightlife/touristy recommendations were left out on the desk - very helpful. So many great places were within walking distance of their place. I especially loved Lancaster Central Market! It is a must stop for anyone who is visiting this charming historic town.
The house was very quiet and I felt like I had it all to myself. Since it was a drizzly night and I was traveling solo, I cozied up with a book. If I had traveled with another person, I would have likely checked out the lively Irish pubs in town.
If I'm ever in Amish country again, I'd stay with them for a second time.
Carol is the kind of guest one would hope for - independent, friendly and interested. Somewhat camera-shy, Carol also tries her best to be un-photogenic. Sometimes she succeeds. She left us with a good impression and a clean, neat room.
airbnb has spoiled me for all future guests by sending carol spencer morris to my home. i cannot think of a more delightful, warm, considerate guest than carol was...i could not have chosen a better person..
i hope that she will remain a friend, since we had such a good time sharing some experiences. She is a super-guest! I am beyond impressed with your website as a result! Please send me more carols.....
An artist by nature, Carol is a wonderful hostess, good friend and an engaging conversationalist. Carol and I worked together at an advertising agency in Little Rock, AR back in the early 80s, and after a thirty year hiatus, reconnected. Visiting Carol is always full of adventure and new experiences, as Lancaster, PA is filled with interesting things to do and places to go. I wholeheartedly recommend Carol as a host or guest for Airbnb.
Carol is a warm, happy friend and a creative hard worker who deserves good reception wherever she goes. We have been friends for years and I can't recommend her company enough. As you can tell, she has a sense of humor, but also many other endearing qualities to discover, as well. Patrick McKelvey
