Aloha, In the early 80's I took a trip to Oahu with some friends. Five of us shared a studio apartment in Waikiki. What was supposed to be a 10 day vacation extended to 2 months. The 'Aloha Spirit' gripped me and from that point on, I knew Hawaii would be a major part of my life. I decided to fly home, sell my belongings and move to Waikiki. Upon arriving in New York my friend asked that I do him a favor and come to Wall Street for a few weeks to fill a vacancy, until a replacement was found. I put my Hawaii plans on hold. That few weeks turned into a 20 year career as an Oil Trader in the trading pits of the NY Mercantile Exchange. I chose 'OAHU' as my trading badge and dreamed of those days on Waikiki. Every vacation I had was spent, during that time, on Oahu. Two, sometimes three times a year I would go. But it was not till the 90's that my travels took me to the island of Kauai. Once I discovered it's lush North Shore, I knew where I would eventually buy our home. Shortly after I married Kimmy at the Princeville Resort. We went back to NY and raised three wonderful children, Nick, Skyler and Jenna. With family and friends, we rented homes every summer on Kauai's North Shore. Over the years we had many experiences with these vacation rentals, some good, some bad. We learned from experience what made a vacation rental amazing and with that knowledge we built House Of Dreams Kauai. We always traveled with other families so size, space and comfort where tops on our list. Areas to entertain, both for the adults and the children were important as well. And providing even the smallest details would make things easy and convenient for our guests. House Of Dreams is the result of a lifelong dream to live and share the 'Aloha Spirit', which has been such an important part of life, to our family. So please, allow us to be your hosts for your very well deserved vacation time. We assure you, 'You will not be disappointed'. Glenn and Kimmy
