Natalie has a lovely apartment in a safe, fun part of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. She was very responsive to my questions leading up to the reservation and worked with me to set up the best way of transferring keys. And her apartment is adorable! Perfect for a single or couple looking for a clean, quiet spot close to the city (about a 20minute ride on the 4 or 5) and nearby some great restaurants. Definitely a great way to get to know Brooklyn a little better!
This apartment is great! I had an absolutely fantastic 6 weeks.
Natalie was very kind to us. Communication was always quick. The apartment was well stocked with towels, bed linen etc. It started to get hot about a week after we moved in and she was very prompt to have an A/C delivered and installed. The apt. was actually not available for the entire 6 weeks but she was kind enough to stay with a friend for the last couple of days so we could have it and was also flexible about the check out time.
The S shuttle station is right across from the building. There is a supermarket & laundromat just minutes away. There are cafes and eateries within walking distance. Prospect Park is beautiful! There is a small deli/grocery at the corner of Prospect Place and Franklin and open late for any urgent needs. The owner is friendly too. Free parking is usually available within a block. The neighborhood is absolutely safe. There are people moving about even at 11 PM.
The apt. is neat and simply decorated. The building itself is very neat and quiet. One neighbor was oddly curious about who I was and why she hadn't seen me before but two others were very friendly and said great things about the building. The train felt loud the first few days but with the A/C running, we didn't hear it much. The kitchen is just right for two people and is well stocked with basic utensils. The bathroom is bright and well-ventilated. There is a comfy queen bed and a writing table. The closets are pretty spacious for a small apartment. I stayed for 6 weeks with my husband visiting over the weekends and we felt very comfortable and safe.
If you need to be in Brooklyn for a few days or intend to tour NYC generally, this is the perfect place.
Highly recommended. I was looking for a place near a friend, and Natalie's apartment was the perfect fit. The area felt safe to me, even when walking back alone late at night. Natalie was super flexible, friendly, and easy to communicate with. The Franklin Ave S Line (shuttle) is incredibly close and makes subway access easy. The apartment is minimal but had everything I needed (wireless internet, shower, bed, refrigerator). And when staying in NY, you'll spend most of your time out. Also, the apartment has several windows and gets plenty of natural light.
Natalie was a great guest!

Was a very kind n quite guest. I wish all the best with her transition into NYC!.
