Our flights got cancelled and we didn't make it to Marrakech in time to stay at this riad. However Radouane was always very good at getting back to us and keeping in touch. To the point were he reserved the room for us again at a later date in case we wanted it. Though after our hefty travels we were too tired and went straight to Essaouira, instead of Marrakech. From our impressions so far Radouane is very thoughtful and attentive and I'm sure his riad reflects this.
This riad was beautiful. The location was perfect, close enough to medina but tucked away far enough from the crowds. Radouane arranged for a pick up as we will arrive at late into Marrakech. He was very accommodating and ensured our stay was comfortable. This was necessary as it would have been difficult to find it ourselves. We would definitely recommend!
Radouane is really nice and helpful host. Offers are a lot help and advises during our stay. He pickup us from the airport and show the the Riad. The place in situated in the heart of the Medina. It's a really unforgettable experience to see and sleep in that kind of place. Riad was clean and it has everything you need. I recommend rooms on higher floors.
I ended up having to leave Morocco earlier than expected, but My mother and her friend stayed at another riad owned by Radouane because he thought they might like a quieter space as there was a large group booked here. They said everything was wonderful and Radouane was very helpful and met them to help them get where they needed to be. He also set up their cooking class and they enjoyed that immensely.
Radouane arranged a cab from the airport when I got in late which was great and met me to walk me to the riad which is a bit confusing location wise. The place was really nice. Great light free breakfast, and great hospitality. The only negative was my room which was nice but in the ground floor which is quite hot and a bit musty. I'd come back but stay on a different level which felt much different.
Lovely room! we were met at the airpoirt by a freindly taxi driver and then taken to the hotel by two very kind young men who made us feel instantly welcome. We loved it so much we booked our last day back with the same place to end the trip :)
Radouane was nice enough but much younger than I thought. He forgot to book my transport from the airport, so it was a bit difficult to sort out and I had to waitt awhile. Breakfast also did not come (website hidden) and I had to phone him to ask. Still no breakfast, explaination or apology. When I mentioned on check out, nothing was said or understood, and no offer of breakfast refund. The room was big enough but damp and dark. I thought the toilet was going to come off it's moorings. It was quite noisy with phones ringing all night and could hear people snoring in the next room. Not a great value for the money. Also beware of the cheap excursions.
The Riad was lovely and simple, had a homely feel to it. The room was perfect for the two of us, private, cozy and beautifully decorated Moroccan style. Radouane arranged transfers on arrival and because it was a Saturday night when they close the streets off for the market, Radouane met us where we got dropped off and walked us to his Riad. Always smiling and happy to give any tips and help, Radouane is a great cheerful host. Breakfast served every morning, except for one slight mishap where his helper didn't arrive in the morning but Radouane was on it straight away and got the breakfast going which made it extra special. The breakfasts were simple and satisfying and what a treat sitting on the roof terrace with the sun beaming down. The Riad is situated perfectly, close enough to the hustle and bustle, only a very short walk to the main market square yet far enough away from it too for some quiet. Thank you Radouane, we had a wonderful I'm sure we will see you again in the future, we will definitely be returning to beautiful Maroc.
La ubicación es perfecta y tranquila, muy comodo y buena atención, esperamos volver pronto!!! Un saludo...
Cheryl stayed at our accommodation for three days. She was a nice guest, no problems at all. She was quiet and clean. Also, she was willing to give a short interview about her stay.
It was wonderful to have Cheryl and Kenny at our home for 3 nights. They're friendly, respectful of house rules, easy-going and we had a great connection. We highly recommend them to the Airbnb community and look forward to hosting them again!
It is a privilege to know and love Cheryl and Kenny. They are both fun, generous, and open people.
Having originally met them in the UK, I was excited and grateful to be invited over to Marrakech, earlier this summer, to experience some of their wonderful, thoughtful hospitality.
The experience far exceeded my expectations. Cheryl and Kenny's passion for this enchanting city, and Moroccan culture is catching. They introduced me gently and naturally - letting me into the local knowledge that they have gathered, by integrating beautifully with members of the local community.
The Riad is in an amazing location. Like a best kept secret, it provides colour, solace and calm - though only a short and romantically windy walk from the sounds and drama of the main square.
My breath was taken by the beauty of the view, when I ascended the stairs to the rooftop. I was seemingly transported back in time as the evening calls to prayer surrounded me.
I totally recommend a visit! Another world and culture, that awakens every sense. Only a short plane ride away.
