Christine Barnes is principal The Body Guard and is a stress reduction expert and an integrative medicine specialist working in the fields of naturopathy, nutrition, homeopathy, herbal medicine, lifestyle, wellness, classical yoga and meditation. She offers private consultations and public classes, workshops and corporate wellness packages. Christine is also a popular speaker on Wellness and Reducing Stress.
Her yogic career includes studies at the Satyananda Yoga University in Bihar, India, and initiation in Advanced Kria Yoga and Meditation with Swami Janakanda in Sweden. Christine founded and became principal of the Australian School of Yoga and Meditation. Now principal of The Body Guard, Christine Barnes incorporates her knowledge of Yoga and Meditation in a holistic natural medicine clinical practice.
Christine has released 4 CDs in a graduated series "Breathe - Relax - Meditate" available via her company The Body Guard.
In the past, Christine has owned and managed a hotel and a bed and breakfast establishment both in Queensland. She welcomes guests who are looking for inspiration and relaxation during their stay.
