Me and my family live on the upper part of the house. My dad is retired and is always at home. I have worked as a tourist guide for Sarajevo for years now....We welcome you to our home.
they both very helpful host. serving nice bosnian coffee
we were three swiss guys (34-37 years old) travelling through the former yugoslavian countries. I really recommend to stay at this house if you're interested to gain an insight into the life if a bosnian family. we experiened a very warm welcome with delicious coffee and bosnian pancake. the family is very lovely and open minded. they gave us formidable advice for sightseeing in sarajevo and the house is located very close to the city centre (bascarsija) with an amazing view over the entire city of sarajevo. one daughter of the family is even a sort of famous bosnian singer! thanks a lot to edo and his family for the pleasant stay at sarajevo!
My host is very helpful but they can not speak English. Paja gave me a map for interesting places in Sarajevo. It was useful. I was greeted by Paja and wife. Wifi inside house. No heater in the room. the cleanliness is fair. they loves to smoke if you like to smoke this is the place. Location just 5 min walk to old town
Paja and his family were great during my stay at their house.
They invited me into their living room for coffee and delicious homemade Burek and some fascinating conversation.
The family lives on the top floor of the house and the rooms for rent are on the lower ground floor. Nice kitchen, bathroom, room was big with it's own balcony with a spectacular view of Sarajevo!
Located about 5 minutes walk downhill to the Old City... wonderful location.
We had such an amazing time with the Paja family. They gave us instructions where to go and made us feel very welcome in their home. This is not a hotel experience. It is honestly that much better.
Mr Edo, his wife (whose name I can't remember right now, sorry), and their daughter Lejla, are some of the nicest and more welcoming and helpful people I've ever met!!! I am happy I stayed at their place my first time here in BiH. I already found an apartment thanks to their help!!! I strongly recommend people staying here!!
We relly enjoyed our time at Edo's place. The welcoming was very heartful. After arriving the next thing we knew was a cup coffee and a really good pancake in front of us with a talkative Edo (although he did not speak English the conversation was not a problem). The family is very nice and they explained everything we needed to know about Sarajevo. The room was clean and comfy. All in all, we definitly recommend staying at Edo's place!
I had a great time staying with Paja's family. They're all incredibly sweet and were helpful in recommending how to get around, what to see etc. The house is perfectly located on a little side street up the hill from the old city center. The room for rent isn't the height of luxury but is clean and quiet and a great value.
Hey guys, if you want to feel welcome and comfortable in Sarajevo, this place is perfect for you. The family is so nice, invitations for coffee, interesting conversations about Sarajevo in the past and today, doctor´s skills in case of a dog bite :-) , a big and comfortable room... everything is included. I didn´t feel like a stranger...they gave me a familiar feeling. I really like to recommend this place, sure to be back one day...thanks Paja...
