I live in San Francisco. I recently moved over from Berkeley. And I'm loving it. I'm in the Mission with James, my lover man. I like black coffee in the morning. (When you fall in love with a man, sometimes you fall in love with his french press, too.) But I prefer a latte in the afternoon. I cook good food, but I'm not a foodie, except by association. I enjoy good modern aesthetics and classic old craftsmanship, though I'm not that hip. I read when I'm feeling ambitious. Mostly, I'm social, and usually, I workout. I also fly fish.
I go to school in "the city" and back across the bay. I work a few research jobs all the time, and even more in the summer -- mostly from home, and this cafe, or that one. The research is about medicine, the law and it's all pretty public health-y. I first went to college to play lacrosse. I studied abroad in Argentina (Buenos Aires), and Spain (Seville and Barcelona). And now I'm in a PhD program. I study medical anthropology. It's okay if you don't know what that is. No one does. I'm working toward a dissertation about HIV prevention.
I'm easy enough to get along with. I'm not totally OCD. But maybe a little.
