I am a traveling, animal loving women who loves to run, bake, garden and play with my cats outside. Pretty laid back and quiet and love meeting people and hearing their stories.

Laurel and her boyfriend were great and courteous hosts. Everything was clean and they provided us a comfortable night on our trip through the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Laurel and Eric were gracious hosts, well organized, and responsive. This is the second time we stayed there but the first time we were able to meet in person. We felt as if we were staying with good friends, including the furry ones.
Laurel's place is conveniently located, quiet, and clean. We hope to return soon.
Laurel and Eric were great hosts. Laurel was flexible with my late notice and she had the room all ready. They let us do our own thing but were also very welcoming for us to make use of the rest of the home. Laurel made us fresh muffins for breakfast one morning! Everything was clean and we were very comfortable. Great location too!
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in Laurel's clean and comfortable home. She and Eric were very accommodating,
personable and helpful. A great airbnb experience!
Laurel was an absolute rockstar host. She communicated well and was very welcoming and did everything possible to ensure a comfy and happy stay. She was very thoughtful in her every action and a real kind person to get to meet. Thanks for everything!
Staying at Laurel's was a wonderful experience. She goes above and beyond expectations to ensure you have a perfect stay. The friendly cats are an extra bonus, they made my stay delightful. Her house is located in a great part of town, with easy access to Virginia Tech. Very comfortable bed! I loved everything and know where to to stay the next time I am in this area for another conference. Thanks Laurel.
Laurel is a natural airbnb hostess! She totally gets it. Great stay, would definitely look for this room again if I needed a place in Roanoke
Excellently gracious, fun, and accommodating hosts. I had a great stay in this clean and comfortable room and house. Laurel and Eric are really interesting and kind folks. Highly recommend staying with them.
Laurel and her boyfriend were great hosts, very welcoming, always ready to help. Spending 3 days with them was a great experience! They helped me a lot with transportation, administrative papers and locations of the major attractions or shops in Blacksburg. Their house is really cute, and the room well furnished and convenient. By the bus, their house is only 10min from the VT University, so pretty close.
What a great guest. Very friendly and cool. I had fun hosting. Thanks for running the Miami Marathon.
Laurel came with a friend, stayed overnight, and went on to run the New York Marathon in 4:05:10. She is completely awesome and an excellent guest (an excellent host too I believe). Always welcome.
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting Laurel and her boyfriend. It was a little busy and hectic around here but they blended right in and they were an absolute pleasure to have in our home. We would definitely have them back and would recommend them to any host. Five stars all around!
Great guest. Thanks for staying with us!
Laurel was a lot of fun to talk with and I enjoyed hosting her. She was friendly and clean and an ideal guest overall. Come back anytime!
Laurel was an excellent guest! Great communication, respectful and very friendly, very clean, she left the space in a great condition. I would love to host her again! And I would highly recommend Laurel to all Airbnb hosts!
Firstly I have to say that Laurel and her friend were excellent guests: all house rules were respected, they left the apartment clean and tidy. Secondly - they are great human beings. Lauren was going to run the NYC marathon which was cancelled at the lest moment due to mega storm Sandy. I can only imagine how disappointing it must have felt. But instead of being angry at this situation Lauren and her friend found themselves useful helping devastated families with the clean up. I've got so much respect for people like that! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lauren to anyone hosting.
Laurel was an excellent guest. She was clean, considerate and communicative. She also gave some hints on how to cook Vegan food, which I enjoyed. Definitely will recommend hosting her, the kind of guest all will enjoy having in their home.
Laurel and her partner were fun to host. They were active and out most of the time... then when on their last day, a pipe broke in the cottage, they were super understanding and went with the flow and used the bathroom in our main house. We really appreciated them for being flexible. Highly recommend them as guests
Laurel and Jenna were very nice guests. They were friendly and respectful of our house. We would recommend them.
I met Laurel as a colleague years ago and now am proud to call her my best friend!! Laurel's home is ideally located on a bus stop and within walking distance of a wonderful local food store, a larger chain grocery store, and one of the newest developments on South Main Street - the First & Main Shopping Center, which touts many great restaurants and shopping opportunities. I know that Laurel makes her AirBNB guests a priority and creates an environment in her home so that her guests feel very comfortable during their stay. Laurel is a gracious host who is very knowledgeable about Blacksburg and helps ensure that her guests can navigate the town so that they can enjoy our area to its fullest! If you choose to be a guest in Laurel's home, I can assure you that you will have a wonderful stay with an amazing host!!
I was going to stay at Laurels and cancelled the room at the last minute as the Hokies game time changed. She was really understanding and when we arrived in Blacksburg for the game she gave me, my husband and our son a guided tour of Blacksburg and bought us all a Hokies mug even though we werent staying with her. Her house is lovely and in a really good position for anyone visiting Blacksburg and the mountains.
