I am a butcher and a food writer with a wonderful wife, Lola, and 2-year-old daughter, Moxie. Lola is a stay-at-home mother who hopes to put her early education graduate degree to use soon. Moxie is a near-perfect child who bursts with energy and endearing qualities.
As guests, we are easy: clean, mellow, and responsible. We spend little time around the house when we are traveling in lieu of exploration. Sure, we have a daughter who maintains a strict sleeping schedule, but if we can find local babysitters we like to eat out a bit. Aside from that, most of our eating is done at home. Hence, a full kitchen is required for our stays, as well as separate bedrooms for us and our daughter.
I run, cycle, and explore. When staying in places for a week or more I like to check out local races and see about entering them.
