Piacere!! Sono Barbara.. Cosa volete sapere di me? Tra le mia passioni senza dubbio vi e' quella di viaggiare e scoprire le localita' piu' segrete del mondo.
Excellent stay, fantastic neighborhood. I can easily recommend it for 2-4-6 people.
Everything was find for our three day stays except the wifi didn't work. We informed the host of this wifi problem but it was not taken care of.
Response from Barbara:
sorry for the problem with the wi-fi but I went the same day for to check and everything was fine probably becouse there was a lot of people the wi-fi didn't work very fast.
Eleven of my friends and I during our study abroad program in Florence took a weekend trip to Rome. I found this apartment on Airbnb and was immediately drawn by how affordable and beautiful the place seemed.
It is really close to Roma Termini - a HUGE plus, and it has three excellent bedrooms, a wonderful kitchen and dining area, and two nice bathrooms with plenty of provided personal care products. The apartment was very clean as well.
I would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat to any groups looking to stay in Rome. The one problem we had with the apartment was bad Wifi service, which is a problem if you are trying to buy tickets to the Vatican Museums like we were (Managed to get the tickets after turning off a bunch of devices)!
Thank you for the incredible apartment!
Had a fantastic stay at Angel's House. I was there with my parents for three nights and it was the perfect base for a short stay in Rome as it is in easy walking distance of all the sights. It is right by the Vatican and Piazza Navona and the Colossuem and Spanish Steps are within a half hour walk so there is never a need to take a taxi or use public transport. There are also lots of shops and restaurants very close by.
The apartment is very easy to find, is clean, spacious and exactly as it looks in the photos. It was great having three bathrooms when getting ready in the morning or to go out in the evening. The towels were clean with plenty for everyone and having a small array of miniature toiletries was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to make breakfast or a light lunch.
There are only a couple of things I would bear in mind....
1) in order to get to the second double bedroom you must walk through the single bedroom. This wasn't an issue for us as the single room wasn't used but worth considering if you are a large group and will be using all the beds
2) If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. There is double glazing but the apartment is on the first floor and this is central Rome - noise is unfortunately inevitable!
Barbara and her sister were extremely helpful both before and during our stay. Barbara was kind enough to arrange airport transfers for my parents and I was also able to leave my suitcase after check out on the final day as I had a late flight.
I would definitely recommend the apartment and would love to stay again if I visit Rome in the future.
Barbara´s place was great, you get all the hotel like amentities with the privacy and space of a private appartment. And there is a nice terrase overlooking the backyard.
After a long flight, we arrived at this flat in immaculate condition with hassle free airport transfer thanks to Barbara's help. The cost turned out to be slightly cheaper than taking the airport express train. The flat is better than the pictures shown here. Barbara's gorgeous sister/host accommodated our late arrival without any complaint and was extremely helpful and friendly. We were given a mobile wifi hotspot device at our disposal and this was useful throughout our stay in Rome. It does get a little noisy at night during the weekend because there is a night club directly across from the flat. However, we are still very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend Barbara's service to anyone considering of visiting Rome.
Lovely apartment with lots of amenities, including basics for cooking. Barbara is a thoughtful and responsive host. The apartment is nicely located in a neighborhood 10 minutes from the train station and about 20 minutes walking from most tourist sites - we felt fully immersed in Rome.
Barbara was a gem of a person, helping out in whichever way she can.She had also furnished the apartment with toiletries and towels to help us get accommodated quickly. The apartment itself is a very old style Italian apartment, giving you the real feel of living in Rome. The apartment is well furnished, although a few more things could be added in the kitchen. It is centrally located with all major tourist spots within walking distance, saving unnecessary taxi costs. The apartment building is also safe and secure as you are the only tenant in the building apart from the owners.
Lovely apartment! Barbara is very kind and helpful person. We stayed for three nights with thirteen girls and it was comfortable and we do not have any problem. The apartment is large and spacious. In the apartment are two bathrooms. Dryer, iron, towels are available.
On the corner is a coffee shop which we went to eat a breakfast and drink coffee,
Location is a 15 mins walk from the Termini Station but it's quite far from the tourist sights. There are buses that stop right in front of the doorstep. We went on foot. Should pay attention to the day tickets, because in Rome tickets are valid 24 hours (until 24 hours on the day in which they have been bought).
The apartment is recommendable.
We went Barbara's house as 2 couples. The house was amazing. It is located in the heart of Rome, very convininet to popular places. The house was very clean. Wifi was available but some times we had connection problems in the bedroom. We had no problem when we arrived to reach the house. She was available on the phone when we needed. .when our flight was potponed we needed a place to keep aour luggages and she let us to even to stay in the apartment. She was so kind. Just a quick note about the lady staying in the building and informing us about the apartment rules: I prefer her to be more smiley :)
