The studio is perfectly located in a quiet and safe neighborhood with nearby access to subway and buses and local shops/eateries. Michele was easy to deal with and very helpful (especially after we broke a key in the lock!!) with a friendly energetic and caring disposition. The flat is small and limited for any self catering however there is so much to do in New York that it was well suited to our needs. It was quite warm when we visited and the flat is on the top floor so we had the air conditioning operating at night which was effective but noisy (though we were too tired after a long day's exploration to be kept from sleep). I would have no hesitation recommending the flat to anyone visiting New York.
Michele was a great, caring and well organized host.
The studio is super clean (much cleaner than every apt that we have seen in NYC in fact!!!) and has everything one needs for a stay in NYC.
Michele even let sunflowers in the room, which we really appreciated!
I totally recommend Michele as a host and this Studio as a great located place to stay in NYC.
The apartment is in an excellent location near the subway, in a quiet area perfect for relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing. A little heat, but air conditioning works perfectly! It was all very very clean, and Michele was very kind to us. She gave us information and advice and helped us through everything. I recommend Michele's apartment without a doubt!
Had a wonderful stay in Michele's place. She wasn't home most of the time I was there however we had a nice chat when I checked in. A very gracious host with comfortable and clean apartment.
Michele's home was great. Just the thing I needed when I was in town for work for a few days. It's super close to the G and C trains, and there are plenty of great restaurants around. But, the best part of the place is probably the bed, which is super comfy...and the tall windows which let in tons of lights! Thanks again Michele for a great stay!
I totally recommend staying here. The flat is spacious, cozy and especially well located: a quiet and nice street just 5 minutes away from a all major subways in Brooklyn. During our stay the only issue was a neglected dog barking all night long in the flat upstairs. Apart from this, our stay at Michele’s was excellent. Michele was friendly and easygoing, and talking with her was so interesting that we even got late to the airport and missed our flight back home... We should have stayed there longer!
great apartment, very comfy in convenient area, near Brooklyn Acad of Music, Ft Greene Park and some nice restaurants and coffee shops. Michele is a great person, very friendly and interesting and so helpful in finding places to eat, drink, etc. Nearby subway though we had a car. Would definitely stay there again.
Everything was great - apartment, neighborhood, restaurants, etc. Michele made us feel welcome and gave us good Brooklyn advice.
Michele was a great gust. Clean, courteous, respectful, and fun. We would gladly host her again.
Michele's apartment is gorgeous, and very clean! Very spacious, yet cozy and quiet. Plus, Fort Green is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Brooklyn right now. I highly recommend!
This apartment is bright and roomy, plenty of space for two people. There's a large eat-in dining area, and the location is hard to beat- walking distance to a major subway hub with express trains to Manhattan. The hostess is dependable, gracious and clean. It's so much better than staying at a hotel - I definitely recommend Michele and her place!
If I didn't already live in an apartment I love, I would easily want to move in to this one. Natural sunlight floods this apartment year-round and the bedrooms are big and charming with beautiful hard-wood floors. It's a wonderful space to decorate and make "yours." The Brooklyn Academy of Music is around the corner and consider Ft. Greene Park your backyard. Fabulous restaurants, bars, and shopping pepper the neighborhood and Manhattan is a hop, skip and a jump away.
