Hello! More about me to come soon.
Brandy's apartment was spacious, wonderfully decorated, and a real treat to stay in. It's located close to Lincoln Square and a short ten minute walk from the L. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay on the north end of the city.
This was a most comfortable, spacious and characterful apartment in a very pleasant location. It is well-sited for those who want to stay in the north part of the city. Brandy was extremely helpful and responsive, greeting us on arrival, and explaining how things worked. Recommended.
The location was perfect for us. Brand's apt. Is adorable. She greeted us when we arrived and explained some of the lovely qualities of her home. Offered grocery store suggestion and we took her up on those. Brandy's place is in a nice building and is was quiet and cozy. Thank you so much for a great first time AirBnB experience.
How lucky were we to find Brandy and her lovely, homey apartment?? If you are a reader, an artist of any kind, or just enjoy the morning light, you will adore staying here at Brandy's apartment. Her place has so much character with all of the collected antiques - each corner is its own vignette. It is located in a really great location - Lincoln Square - it reminded me a little bit of being in my old neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It's a wonderful place if you like to cook, to read, & to listen to her great records! You are a block & a half away from the L - brown line - and that will take you all around the city in a big loop! You are a skip & jump from Andersonville, which she highly recommended, and we had a brilliant time there - as well as the surrounding parks. We traveled with 2 kiddos - 3 & 4 yrs. She accommodated us even at the last minute for an entire week. Communication : excellent. Thank you, Brandy, for such a great stay!!
Brandy was a real pleasure to host, and great with all communication, I highly recommend her!
Brandy is one of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. This apartment is lovely. I actually lived with Brandy in the dining room of this place for 8 months -- seriously. It was big enough to fit a queen size air mattress in there along with a huge desk and bookshelf. I was supposed to stay for 14 days, but we just got along super well!
If you do stay here, I highly recommend buying your groceries from Harvest Time Produce just down the street -- it's a wonderful and cheap grocery store. And you MUST stop at Gene's Sausage Shop on Western and Lawrence (a 5 min walk away) just to check it out. They have a wonderful selection of meats!
