I am a young guy living in the sunshine of Brisbane, and I don't know what I would do without my bike. I am headed to Europe later in 2013 for the Tour de France, and can't wait to see the riders battle France's toughest climbs and taking some of them on myself.
In my spare time, I quite enjoy spending time outside - I love to run, and I like to swim. I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen; when I travel, I prefer to stay somewhere with a kitchen or something. That way, I not only get the chance to enjoy the restaurants and eateries in the area, but also the different ingredients and flavours that are available.
I have travelled a little, mostly chasing snow - I quite enjoy skiing with my girlfriend and the cold is something that is quite foreign to Queenslanders. I had the chance to spend some time in Japan in 2011 and loved the friendliness of the people, the food and the unbelievable ski slopes.
As a guest, I was always taught to treat anywhere I am staying like I would expect people to treat my own home - keep things tidy, clean and generally look after your things. Even though I like to cook, I don't shirk away from the clean up and am fastidious about the sharpness of my knives and cleanliness of my pots and pans.
In my social life, I love to have a chat and can always find something to fill a lull. My parents always joked when I was growing up that this was the reason I became a lawyer - I was being paid to talk!
I look to meeting new and interesting people, whether it be as a guest or as a host!
