I am Brenda and I am new to airbnb but I am very excited to be apart of this wonderful venture!
I live in the south part of San Francisco on top of a hill with a beautiful view of a little valley and the Pacific Ocean. I love it here and I hope you will too. The place has a great feel.
I love to sing. Sometimes I go out to sing at Open Mics. I love to listen to music, paint, walk dogs, drink good wine and to go wine tasting, travel, cook, host parties, read, laugh my head off and generally anything that makes life fun, I like to do.
I am the owner of Adios Dog Walking and have been in the this business for 14 years this February. My business has been very good and I would like you to share in my good fortune by staying here with me on the hill. It's a great place and I am so happy to share it with you!
"The Bad Seed'" is my favorite movie, my favorite book, "Aztec," by Peter Jennings, also "The Nature of Personal Reality," by Jane Roberts. My favorite artist is John McCracken, who I knew personally and my favorite TV show of all times always comes down to, "Bewitched." I love "Breaking Bad," "Archer," MeTv and all sorts of old and new, too. I love South Park, Bob's Burgers and that sort of raunchy humor yet I have a very spiritual side that has always been part of me, yet I love a party!
That brings me to my earlier days. I attended Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, California and went to American River College when I was still attending high school. I graduated high school and then went to UC Santa Barbara. I graduated UCSB and moved to Sacramento for work and got married.
While in Sacramento I decided to pursue a Masters degree in Psychology, which I did until I realized that I didn't click with my peers and dropped out one class and a thesis away from my degree. Mediocre effort? Maybe so but I love where I am in my life and I would repeat most of my decisions that I have made for myself.
My former husband and I lived in Sacramento for a short time and moved to San Francisco in 1997 in time for the earthquake! I worked in the restaurant industry while I studied graphic design and then I worked as a graphic artist in the co-op movie advertising industry when I quit and went on to running the graphics department at a showcase manufacturing company. That was the craziest job I ever had. It sounds so mundane but it was off the wall wacky! I still know my old boss. He read my palm before he hired me. California......
When I left his employ, I went into the dog walking business with a partner. We split the partnership a few years back and I have been walking dogs solo until the past few months where I now have assistance. So here I am, happy and very grateful.
It will be a pleasure to help you in having a great stay here with me on the hill.
