Hi, I'm living in Vienna now, but will be moving back to San Francisco come the late summer. My latest craze is running and I find it more fun to travel to a place to run a marathon versus in my own city. Skiing is another love of mine and would like to travel more in order to experience other mountains versus the amazing ones in Colorado. My friends and I also love to visit our friends in other cities (we're all spread out across the US) and now that we're a little bit older-we prefer to rent a place versus all sleeping in a friends living room-ha!
I always prefer to book a home/apartment when traveling in order to prepare my own meals. Plus, I think it really gives you a better feel for the city you are visiting. I love to go to where my friends are and prefer not to burden them if there are too many of us visiting. Therefore, renting a place is very convenient.
I'm a very clean person and always respect the places I am living in or renting. If there are any rules/requests from the owner, I will definitely follow them-no need to worry about that. Emailing or calling works with me in order to discuss the rental-really whatever you prefer.
I've rented places through VRBO a few times now, but just found out about airbnb and really like this site. I really appreciate when an owner takes the time to make their place welcome to guests and will write a good review after my stay.
