We arrived at Taksim square at around 1 am, Grant picked us up which was very kind, and we appreciated. The place was very well located, 3 mins walk u ll arrive at Taksim. We miss the cute cat Patetes a lot. And we loved all the paintings, the pics made their home warm and lovely.
This is an excellent place to stay. Grant and Ayse are excellent hosts and will make sure you have everything you need. The location is awesome too, very close to Taksim Square, which in addition to being an all around great neighborhood is close to the Havatas bus stop, which will take you straight to or from Ataturk airport for only ten lira. Anyone can point you to Taksim so it's almost impossible to get lost. Transit connections are good too, there's a tram nearby that goes to the Hagia Sofia et al, or it's a nice walk. The apartment itself is charming and bright. I highly recommend it!
Had a great experience - G&A are super nice, full of great suggestions, and it's a great location!
We had a brief but lovely stay with Grant and Asyegul. Their apartment is really cute and has lovely natural light. That said, there is no need to worry about that affecting your sleep because there is a black curtain in the bedroom to help with that. We had a good breakfast and Grant also gave us great suggestions for places nearby. We also really appreciated being able to do laundry at such a reasonable price. This location was really perfect for catching the havas to the S. Gokcen airport for our very early morning flight. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Nice host and we enjoy the stay very much! It takes several minutes's walking from Grant and Ayse's house to Metro down the way and several minutes up to Taksim Square. There are shops and restaurants along the road so we spent last whole day shopping nearby. Grant and Ayse gave their valuable advice about our tour in Istanbul and they are so nice -- so is their cat papates!
We stayed 4 nights at this lovely place and especially appreciated the central, yet quiet location close to Taksim square. Grand and Ayse are very kind and helpful. Unfortunately they both had to work so we didn't see each other that often. The flat is tidy - so all in all we would go there again. And there's so much to discover in Istanbul.
All was perfect! The hosts were very friendly and discrets. The room was comfortable and the shower pleasant. Patates is the cutest cat of the world! We recommande this adress. We spent a good time in Istanbul.

What great hosts! Lovely stay, great location, very friendly and helpful hosts, oh and the nicest cat. Don't look any further, just book now! We will definitely visit again!
Ayse and Grant were perfect: They gave us great advice where to go and what to do. Whenever we needed their help they were available. The two are easy-going, friendly and open-minded and we felt really welcomed.
Their flat is clean, cute and central - only 5 minutes to Taksim. But it was calm and safe at their place, too. The daily breakfast was good and the perfect start for the day.
We spent 10 days at their flat and absolutely recommend it. In addition to the very friendly hosts their cat Patatas was the cutest and most beautiful cat of Istanbul!
Thanks a lot for the time at your place!
We spent an entire week in the house. It has been a great experience. The place is cozy, location is perfect and the hosts are very nice, respectfull and full of tips to discover the city.
P.S. Patates is the most beautiful cat we've ever seen :-)
Great guests, quiet and respectful. We would gladly host them again.
Although the stay was very short, due to a late arrival flight, Grant was a great guest. He had a great personality and was very friendly.
Grant and his girlfriend are friendly guests discreet and respectful. It was a pleasure to receive them.
