The Treehouse is a lovely, cosy and secluded little haven surrounded by bushland and great little walks. The view is stunning, the space eclectic and inviting and Lucy was helpful and quick to respond. We hope to visit again. Thanks.
This house is exactly why we don't stay at hotels. It felt like we were staying at a friend's home. The view of the mountains from the living room and veranda is breathtaking. The sunrise over the cliffs got 3 pre-teens out of bed early to take photos from the tower. The house was very comfortable and had many unique features. The winter room was cozy with a fireplace and a great retreat for the kids. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms are on both sides of the house making it comfortable for two families to share. We appreciate being able to bring our dog and the property is so large that we could go on hikes without getting in the car. The surroundings were like a secret garden with many fun trails and garden areas. The kids enjoyed exploring and playing soccer. It is an easy 5 minute drive to Blackheath and Katoomba is just another 15 minutes or so. Lucy and Victoria were very easy to work with. We typically don't stay at the same place twice as we like to explore new areas, but we will be back.
We had an excellent time staying here. What a great experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and being right in the bush. So cosy and lovely. A great place for a couple getaway. Great communication with Lucy and had no problems at all. We will be back soon!
We had a great long weekend at the Treehouse! We didn't get to meet Lucy but she gave very clear, detailed instructions on how to find it so it was easy to find. It was rainy and foggy the entire weekend so we all we did was stay in bed reading and napping, which we didn't mind! The heaters and electric blanket helped keep us warm and we had what we needed to cook all our meals as well. There was no hot water on the first night but once I told Lucy about this she asked her friend to come have a look and eventually got an electrician to come fix it almost immediately. She also reimbursed us some money for the inconvenience which she didn't have to, but was really nice of her to do so. Would recommend this place for sure :)
The treehouse was fabby. A real feeling of isolation even though it's only 10 mins' drive to Blackheath (it's also far enough away from the main (gorgeous) house to feel completely secluded). It was wonderful waking up to dawn through huge windows. The treehouse is really comfy and cosy, the kitchen's well-equipped, and the shower is great. We also saw a family of roos grazing on the garden, which felt very special. Stay here and feel refreshed!
The place is stunning, and exactly like the photos. It is clean, and has all of the kitchen and bathroom products you'd need. The kitchen facilities are small (for instance, there isn't an oven) but we didnt miss anything, and were able to cook with no difficulty. The glass bathroom door looking out onto the bush is confronting at first, but quirky! We had a wonderful time, and a much needed escape with zero fuss.
The best blue mountains experience you could ever have! THE Couples romantic getaway. Lucy was very good communicator and friendly. Nothing to fault :)
We had a great time, even though the fog was as thick as molasses. We didn't see the view, it was cooks, but with the fireplace roaring and marshmallows roasting, it was a comfortable place.
The treehouse is a magical place, made even more so by the fog that we were surrounded by for most of the weekend! We had no problems finding the property with Lucy's directions and even though we were worried about being a little cold, the heater and electric blankets made it the perfect place to spend the colder evenings. The location was perfect and blackheath was a lovely little town to explore. Waking up on our final morning the fog had lifted and we were finally able to fully experience the view from bed which was beautiful! We both agreed that there is no where else we would want to stay when we take another trip up to the blue mountains!
The treehouse was absolutely amazing. A fantastic view and the house had all the necesities. We didn't get to meet Lucy, but the communication went smooth.
Lucy slipped in/out of our home leaving barely a trace! Thanks for being a thoughtful guest!
