Dahlia was a great host! She was very prompt with communication and left us treats and breakfast. The 5th floor walk up wasn't an issue at all and the location was great. The photos of Dahlia's place were accurate though the places is a bit run down and could use a good scrub. For that reason maybe a bit high in price. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Dahlia was incredible! She went above and far beyond to provide me w sites, amenities in the area and was very accommodating for my last minute key needs and wireless access questions. In addition, her place is well situated in Brooklyn, neighbors were friendly and it was clean and comfortable. I'd highly recommend her and will return here when u visit NYC again soon.
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Dahlia's place. It was exactly as advertised. She was very communicative as were preparing for our trip, and everything went smoothly. Her neighborhood is very quiet, and ended up being a great treat after a busy day in the city. It is a short walk to some of the main trains in Brooklyn, and we were able to visit almost anywhere we wanted to go with a walk and a subway ride, all for the price of a 7 day unlimited metro pass - $29. Cobble Hill has many nice restaurants, bars, and markets, including a trader joe's 2 blocks away. You really cant' go wrong staying here. Thanks Dahlia for allowing us the use of your place :)
The location is very convenient to downtown Brooklyn, Atlantic Avenue shops and restaurants, and the Promenade along the East River. Dahlia was a very helpful host, leaving breakfast food items, milk and bottled water for us. The only negative about the site is that it is a fifth floor apartment, meaning that each trip in or out requires navigating four flights of stairs. Dahlia was up-front about that fact from the start. That situation is most likely not a problem for the young and fit, but might be for others. Note: My wife and I are 65 and 67 years old, respectively, and we came through a four-day visit fine.
The apartment was extremely comfortable and spacious. It’s a great location, close to a lot of little establishments such as Tidy & Honey and The Wild Ginger. And the best thing was that we ran into so many nice people in the area. Dahlia was gracious enough to leave out a crate, bed and bowls for our puppies. She was also very accommodating as far as checking-in and out of the apartment. There was constant communication, before and after our stay. I would recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a pet friendly environment.
My family and I love this apartment!! I know we made the right choice in staying at Dahlia's apartent in Brooklyn Heights. My daughter felt at home and so did my wife and I. Dahlia was the perfect host and helped us with everything. I feel like we got such a great deal with this apartment and it's location. I would recommend this place to any one visiting NYC. Its in one of the best places in Brooklyn and just a few minutes from Manhattan. From the first day to the last we enjoyed everything. The air conditioner worked perfect with the weather. The internet was fast and reliable. The apartment was roomy and clean and It just felt like a home. We could"nt have asked for a better host. Thanks again Dahlia!!!
