Law student from Iceland.
Gracious host, clean and comfortable apartment, very convenient location, and as Sindri said, the shower is pretty great. Thank you Sindri, for the Christmas cookies!
My husband and I stayed here for the Iceland Airwaves festival and had a great time. This was a perfect walkable location to all the downtown venues as well as the bus terminal (Flybus drops you off here from the airport & you can arrange day trips from here). Sindri was a great, helpful host; he was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. Reykjavik is an awesome city and this was an ideal place to retreat to at the end of our busy days.
Staying at Sindri's place was perfect for us. Great location, central to everything that's downtown. Very clean. Sindri was nice, reliable, and a good communicator. It really couldn't have been easier or better. The pictures are accurate. We spent a few nights at a nice Reykjavik hotel later in our trip and we both wished we were back at Sindri's.
We loved this flat, and the whole experience put us in a great mood!
It's tastefully furnished and cosy, and has excellent feng shui (or at least that's what we imagine). The owners were helpful and generous, and simply sweet, we felt really welcome. They also allowed us to use spice and other stuff from their kitchen, which saves us lots of money when we could cook without having to go nuts buying spices and such.
The flat is centrally located, but still on a quiet street, so it was really nice to be able to get anywhere while also allowing our daughter to play in the cute garden with light supervision. And since Sindri and his wife have a small kid of their own, the apartment both had a baby bed, was secured, and even had toys which they offered our girl to play with (she did!)
We stayed for a week and would gladly come back next time we're around.
Great guests, very nice, clean and tidy. would take them again as guests anytime. you can trust them with your apartment - no worries at all. thank you for everything and please come back again! Tom
