communication went all right, Alexandra seems to be a very friendly, open and trusting person.
the two of us had a great stay.
Great location, really nice place, very helpful host. Some veryt minor concerns but would definitely stay again.
This place was perfect.
Clean, comfortable, close to everything to see in Williamsburg.
It was a cosy haven to return to after a day of sightseeing.
Can't offer enough praise for Alexandra and her Yummy Town apartment. Alexandra met us when we first arrived and on the couple of occasions we has a query she was available. Her apartment is very comfortable and big enough for our party of four. Well appointed with all conveniences. The location is just brilliant. A few streets from the best parts of Williamsburg but with new bars and shops opening up all around. This is a very happening part of New York and Alexandra's place fits right in. If I was a New Yorker I would want to live here. You can't go wrong with this place.
We had a great time in Alexandra's lovely apartment. It's in a brilliant location - close to shops, restaurants, playgrounds, metro and the ferry. Alexandra was a perfect host and we'd definitely recommend her place to anyone coming to stay in the Williamsburg area.
Alex was a great host and her place is outstanding
she was very quick to respond to our questons
we would definetly stay here again
During our experience at Alexsandra'home, we have felt all the real energy of this neightbourhood of Williamsburg. We love Yummytown and we approval!
We spent the Christmas week 2012 in Williamsburg in Alexandra’s lovely home. The perfect setting for a family holiday, with the living room and kitchen creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. Manhattan easily within reach, but Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg has it all. Going to NY? We recommend Yummytown.
We had a wonderful stay. Alexandra was a brilliant host and her apartment is gorgeous.
We stayed in Alexandra's apartment for 9 nights and had a great time.
The apartment is in the most perfect location, seconds from the river and a short walk to the L train/a host of great restaurants & bars.
I must say, by the end of 9 days, we had no desire to leave and the apartment had become our home.
Thanks for letting us your beautiful abode.
Alexandra, Murphy and Banksy the Husky dog, were really wonderful guests. We loved having them, and hope they all return someday:)
Alexandra stayed at my Tahoe cabin this last weekend. We got a chance to talk for a few minutes, great folks, very personable. They left the cabin in great shape, I would welcome them back anytime.
Alexandra and Murphy were perfect guests. The house was immaculate when I returned.
Alexandra & Murphy were "efficient" guests. They arrived in the evening and left early in the morning and we didn't even see them. They were quiet and respectful. I regret not meeting them.
Alex and her group were wonderful guests. They were very easy to work with and I would definitely host them again.
What can be said about Alex that hasn't been said about the Mona Lisa? Beautiful? Absolutely. Mysterious? Only how she manages to maintain her effortless yet timeless hairstyle. Priceless? Her friendship no doubt qualifies. I'd offer to sell it, but you can't afford it. In all seriousness, this is someone who leaves any place she visits more beautiful. Her eye for aesthetics is uncanny. And her Williamsburg apartment is legendary. I envy her kitchen with a vicious passion. Count yourself lucky if you ever meet this modern day icon.
Alexandra and Murphy have a really lovely home. It's warm, bright, inviting and a pleasure to be there. And it's really well-located, one block from the east river, near the ferry and right at the epicenter of gastronomic Williamsburg. I could not recommend this more highly.
