If you are traveling to Seattle I would recommend Bea's apartment in Capitol Hill.
The location is fabulous because Seattle is such a great walking city. The view from her place is great and the bed was very comfortable. Her furnishings were pleasant and her kitchen was well equipped.
It is true that the water pressure is low in the shower but the water was warm and this feature did not keep me from enjoying my stay at Bea's place. Loved it!!!!!!!
Bea was a great host for our weekend in Seattle. She made everything simple and keeps a very clean home. The spot is perfect if you're looking to walk around Capitol Hill for the weekend. The only issue was the annoyingly weak shower that goes on and off as you're showering, but she was up front about that, so I can't mark her down for one issue. Besides, who cares about a weak shower when the rest of the place is so great? The greatest thing about the apartment is that it is on the top floor and there is only one apartment neighbor that you can hear. You can not beat the view of the city while lying in bed. Thanks Bea!
My girlfriend and I stayed at Bea's place for two nights and had a marvelous time. Bea was friendly and hospitable, and able to offer suggestions for various food and drink options close by. Her place is clean, cozy, and full of light with marvelous views of downtown and the top of the Needle - provided the Seattle weather cooperates! The proximity to Broadway, 15th, and the Pike and Pine corridor made for easy walks to a plethora of dining possibilities with downtown just a short drive or bus ride away.
As noted by other reviewers, the water pressure in the shower falls to a trickle occasionally but this is only a small inconvenience in an otherwise great location and cozy hide-away.
As a Seattle native returned for a couple nights stay to savor the city, I couldn't have been happier with all that Bea and her place had to offer.
A really cozy, warm and clean apt, with a special view of the city, the sea, the mountains and also the top of the Space Needle. It perfectly fits the needs of a couple. It is in a really quiet block. At the same time walking distance (5 minutes) from Broadway (public transport, shops, restaurants, coffee...) and Pike/Pine corridor for nightlife. With Bea everything has been simple and easy going. Definetely Bea's apt will be our first choice next time in Seattle.
This apartment is gorgeous and light. Its cosy and feels like home and you'll leaving loving your self that little bit more. It's location is great just off Broadway with loads of places to eat, drink and shop. Not too far from downtown either. I would recommend this for a short stay in an amazing city.
Bea's apartment was lovely to stay in. It was super bright and clean with beautiful views. It was in a great location, close to Broadway and a short bus ride or long walk to downtown. Bea was lovely to deal with, I recommend staying here.
This air b n b was a total home away from home. Great location and clean space loaded with plants, personality, and a super comfy bed. The many windows and views made it feel much larger than its square footage. The only drawback was the low water pressure in the shower- it took so long to wash my hair because the stream kept reducing to a drizzle.
Response from Bea:
Hi Sarah, sorry that happened to you. Sometimes during prime shower times the water pressure can get a little low, due to being on the top floor of an old building, but it always comes back quickly.
We had a great time, thank you Bea. Great place, great location!
We had an absolutely wonderful time in Bea's studio apartment. It is very cozy and we felt very homy there. Bea's place has a certain character and we liked it. It is small but it has everything one might need for a short stay while visiting Seattle. And apartment is very conveniently located in the very heart of the Capitol Hill, just a few minutes away from the Broadway street with its endless cafes, restaurants and stores. It has a wonderful downtown view as well as a very easy access there. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Great location and Bea was prompt in meeting I'd and helpful in giving recommendations for good eats in the neighborhood.
