I am an editor at an independent publisher in San Francisco. I was born and raised in Northern CA and now live in Berkeley.
Daniel was *so* kind - met me down neat his work at the Bart station, and walked me several blocks to where I'd catch the bus to his place. The buses run about a block or two from the apartment - making this place convenient to most anywhere in the city. The Velo Rouge cafe is a wonderful coffee shop ... Located on the next corner. Two doors down from it is the Arguello market - they do fabulous boxed lunches there.
The apartment itself is a classic old style San Francisco apartment, with high ceilings and hardwood floors. The room is huge, light and airy. The bathroom window looks out all the way to the Bay. A fresh breeze blows in through open windows on a sunny day. The bedroom curling is banded by a lacy edge framing a chandelier. French doors separate you and the room next door. Daniel's roommate's are chill and nice, and both greeted me with big smiles. What a wonderful, easy vibe here. I could of stayed in this cozy bed much longer.
Daniel was very quick to respond and was able to fit in my last minute request. Excellent in communication and managing my expectations as a guest.
The room is very spacious, quite comfy, and near bus lines.
