Julie was a fantastic host. She had snacks and goodies waiting for us when we arrived and provided a full list of great places for us to check out. The apartment was quirky, fun and perfect for 4 of us. We also really liked the neighborhood. It was fun to experience an area other than the French Quarter. We never had any problems finding a cab when we did want to head to Bourbon Street. I would definitely recommend Julie and her apartment to anybody visiting the Big Easy.
The house was great! Great location. Always fun and active neighborhood but quiet and peaceful at night. Beautiful old home and a perfect porch for hanging out. The house had mostly everything that i needed. Julie was very helpful and just a text or phone call away if i needed anything. I would recommend this listing to anyone.
Julie was great the entire way! Prior to booking she was flexible and patient as I finalized plans. The apartment is exactly as advertised and super cozy. We loved the Garden District and it is super easy to get downtown but stay out of the hubbub and craziness of the French Quarter. Julie checked in on us throughout our stay which was really nice. If we head down to NOLA again we'll definitely stay again.
Julie is an absolutely fantastic host. Before we even arrived in New Orleans, we had a list of suggested to-do's, restaurants, and sites to see. We brought our dog, and she even left an additional page at the apartment with dog-friendly locations in the city.
The location is hard to beat. Right in the scenic Garden District, so a stroll up and down the streets between Magazine and St. Charles is a good use of an afternoon. It's a quick drive to the French Quarter, too, although you could probably walk it if you've got 40-50 minutes in you.
If you're staying in winter and it happens to be cold, be sure to follow Julie's advice about using the space heater in the bathroom. Since it's at the back of the apartment, it can be a bit colder back there than the rest of the apartment, which will stay nice and warm for you.
Julie is a fantastic host. She is responsive, proactive and extremely helpful. She sent city recommendations and clear instructions on how to find her place. We had beer and chips waiting for us!
The place is GREAT. It has tons of charm, is spacious and clean, and sits on a nice street. If you are debating between a hotel or a house, go with Julie's place. It was great being in a real neighborhood. The location is perfect.
Thank you! We'll be back!
Great host and great location. Nice touches included essential beginning supplies (munchies and cold beer) for arrival. Nice clean apartment, ideal for 2-4 people. Close to everything, yet away from all the noise. A great base from which to exlore NO and enjoy.
Le séjour s'est bien passé.
Couple souriant,sympathique, respectueux des lieux.
It was nice to host Julie. They are a fit and adventurous couple who climbed the volcano for sunrise while staying here. We would recommend them to other hosts and they would be welcome back here anytime.
C'est ma fille qui a reçu Julie et son compagnon,
