Active Educator living on the coast; into surfing, hiking, and R&R. My favorite restaurant? Zorro's Café (up the street). They have the best clam chowder bread bowl! And Alex's bar b que has the best ribs (up the street, too).

Jacqueline was a great host. The studio and location were delightful, just as described.
Jacqueline graciously welcomed us on only a couple of hours notice. The private suite was lovely and clean: good-sized bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker, bottle of wine in fridge, large en-suite bathroom with shower. Short walk to the shore for sunset, and to several restaurants. We ate at Zorro's, which was great -- and had no problem modifying a dish for someone with celiac disease. She also has a nice front garden with table & chairs, and an outdoor fireplace for night-time enjoyment.
We would never have discovered Shell Beach but for AirBnB, because you have to get off Highway 1 at the previous town and take access road. Turned out to be one of our favorite stops on our trip up the coast!
The private access was nice and the location was great for anyone looking for a small place in Shell. Jacqueline was great with her communication, and made us feel very comfortable on our short stay. Very peaceful front yard and we had everything we could need . Wine was a great touch. We would definitely stay again!
