It's a terrible appartment, you can't even call it an appartment!
It's one room wich is very dirty, so dirty you don't even want to sleep in the bed! They say they have 4 accomadations, wrong. They have four matrasses which you can put on the floor together, but than there's no place to walk in the room anymore.
The host is a crook.
Close to the centre and Irina is very friendly. I stayed with four people though and it's far too small for that. Would be better for one or two people.
THIS APARTMENT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The apartment was in poor condition as well as very dirty. There were little hairs all over--on the stove top, the sponge to clean the dishes, in the bathroom, on the floor. There was a filmy layer of dirtiness over everything, the door to the bathroom was brown in spots, there were dishes in the sink, trash in the trashcans and crumbs all over the kitchen. There were even dead bugs smeared on the walls.
We had problems with the host from the beginning. Even before leaving I contacted her twice by email and hadn't heard back, so I finally called her (internationally) two days before leaving to ask her to please give us some information on how to arrive to the apartment. She told me over the phone that since we were arriving at 9 pm it was "quite late" and therefore couldn't meet us, but would send directions from the airport via email and would leave us the key in the mailbox (which doesn't say much for her level of security). When we got to the apartment the mailbox did not have the key and we had to place yet another international call in order to ask her what was going on. She claimed to have a friend who "may have needed the key" and said she would call that friend to find out and then call us back. We waited a half an hour and heard nothing. So, we called her internationally for a third time. She said she still hadn't been able to get in touch with this friend and that we would have to wait longer. She promised to call back. It was starting to get cold so we found a nearby bar. When the friend showed up to let us into the apartment, we had been waiting for about an hour. Once finally in the apartment we realized that it was very dirty and that we had only been left one towel. We called the host for a fourth time to ask for another towel. She told us we had to go to the top level to get it ourselves because she hadn't had time to take care of it, and when we went to get the towels they were still wet.
Also, in her description it says that it is 90 euros a night for 2 people but we were charged 110 even though there were only two of us.
The place itself is not very clean. Conveniently located though
I am afraind we were very disappointed with our stay in Irina's apartment. The real bed was a stack of mattresses; the window had to be held shut with a screwdriver shoved into the jamb; there was only one chair to go with the table (no dining); We had to clean and rearrange the kitchen area to use it, and to find enough silverware. The whole apartment was shabby and not so clean. We would not have stayed the first night if we had other options. I think this is very overpriced.
