My roots continue to grow deeper in Brooklyn while my desire to explore extends wider too. I remain passionate about the work I do and continue to be amazed at the incredible opportunities I've had to both provide for my family and give back something to the world around me.
I love ...
Cooking and entertaining for family and friends,
Printmaking and painting which is made apparent when you're in my home,
Writing and thinking about issues that matter - public education, health, social justice - and raising millions for great organizations,
Developing strong, deep and long-lasting friendships across generations,
Biking to work over the Manhattan Bridge,
Escaping with a good novel,
Making free form pies – sweet and savory, and
Remembering I still live in NYC and exploring my city.
Airbnb guests ... We have lived in this wonderful brownstone for 20 years now and watched the neighborhood evolve around us. Living in our home: my two sons, a young cat named Rogue, and me. The ground floor apartment is home to a dear friend who is a filmmaker-environmental lawyer with two dogs -- Ruby & Tingo.
We are most often only renting out two rooms on the top floor of the brownstone that share one bathroom. We don't have any rooms with private baths.
