Deb and her husband Pete were absolutely charming, and I felt as if I’d known them forever! They are extremely talented professional people, warm, genuine, and engaging, neat and tidy, and insisted on lending a hand. Pete even offered to fix the closer on my front storm door that was sticking.
Thunderstorms rolled in on Saturday and limited their shopping and sightseeing plans, so we spent a leisurely evening indoors after I got home from work late. I love to cook and invited them to join me, so we sat around the table late into the evening eating, chatting about life experiences, our children, our cultures and had some great laughs. They love the Airbnb concept, and shared many wonderful stories about their past experiences, which I found tremendously helpful being a new host.
Deb and Pete are both “cat people”, as I respectfully refer to them. Saturday morning while I was at work, Deb texted me to say that she and Pete had just left the condo to do some shopping when they realized they hadn't noticed "Bud" my cat as they were leaving the condo. Fearful that he'd slipped out the door unnoticed and would be stranded in the rain, Pete turned the car around and headed back. After a brief search inside, Bud emerged. Deb immediately texted me to report he was safe inside. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful, compassionate, and responsible, which says a lot about their character and trustworthiness.
Bud fell instantly in love with Pete, and spent most of the weekend in his lap. After Deb and Pete departed Sunday morning, Bud lay in the foyer window all day watching and waiting for them to return. We were both sad, but happy that we met two incredible new friends who, to my delight, are planning to come back to visit us soon. Meanwhile, I highly recommend Deb and Pete as guests to anyone. If you can get rained in with total strangers during a monsoon, you will truly become great friends!
Deb was a great guest. Communication was great. I loved our talks. She kept the room nice and left in great condition. Quiet, loveable, and friendly. Deb is welcomed back anytime.
A charming guest who was considerate and fun to have as a guest. I certainly would love to have her again.
The Guess had arrived and found the apartment very clean, the towels and the linens as well, since she was only staying one night and her son and her girlfriend would check in the following day, she requested for the linen and towels that she had used the night before to be change when she leaves which was done before her son and his girlfriend showed check in. If there was a hair or two on the bathroom floor that day, my apologies but the guess can agree with me that we agreed to change the linen and towels only. Other than that I think Deb is a lovely woman and I won't hesitate to rent to her again.
Deb was such a wonderful guest! I had a great time texting and talking back and forth with her before, during and after her stay. She was so respectful, warm and a pleasure to deal with. Deb and her family were very neat and tidy and took great care of my place. Deb even left me a lovely card and a gift when she left. Having her was an awesome experience!
Deb! Was amazingly nice ,clean and very very friendly! We even spent some time in the kitchen enjoying a cup of coffee talking about some of her family living in NYC and Puerto Rico who also stayed here for a few days. I recommend Deb any time and she is more than welcome to stay here anytime she comes back to NYC.
