I am a recent Computer Science graduate with a passion for travel, learning Italian, drawing, and art history. You will usually find me in museums, reading books, and trying out vegan restaurants. In May 2012, I started my "The Grand Tour" visiting Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Russia, and Great Britain. Three months later, I returned to US and was a completely different person. I am addicted to travel ever since. As I was traveling alone(and on a shoestring budget), I preferred hostels over airbnb. Now, I want to get to know the city and the culture through locals in their homes.
5 Things I can't live without:
Warm weather, Macbook, iPhone, Dairymilk chocolates, and running shoes.
Favorite Travel Destination: Rome (Babington's Tea Room, Piazza Di Spagna)
Favorite Books: Surely you're joking Mr. Feynman, To kill a mockingbird.
Favorite Movies: Lion King, Kung Fu Panda, Forrest Gump, 3 idiots, Rang De Basanti, Scent of a woman, Lincoln, Argo.
Shows: F.R.I.E.N.D.S. , The big bang theory.
Food: Indian Dal-Rice, Anything vegan.
Favorite Museums: Villa Borghese, Centrale Montemartini, Frick Collection, Getty Center.
I love sharing and listening to travel stories with fellow travelers. When I travel, I am always learning something new-a language, or paper-making business in Italy or biography of Michelangelo. I am a dabbler and a museum addict.
