First, to address Ina's concerns.. We washed all the dishes, wiped down the counters and tidied up the place as much as possible (considering that it's chock full of knick-knacks). We didn't make the beds, assuming that the sheets would need to be washed. There were no instructions regarding the garbage, so it was left neatly in the trash bin. Paying a cleaning fee implies that small clean up details like this are included. Be that as it may, I would be glad to pay the extra $30 dollars clean up fee and for the damage to the stool (which by the way was rickety and looked like it had been previously glued).
Regarding the linens, Ina knew that there were 5 of us coming and that we would be using the daybed to sleep on. Yes, we needed the extra linens for that bed.
Now I didn't leave a review thinking that if you have nothing nice to say, better not to say anything..
The house is densely packed with "antiques", to the point where there's no room to put anything, every nook and cranny is filled with some knick-knack. There's so little free space, our kids had difficulty spreading out a monopoly board on the floor. We had nowhere to put our clothes. There are bags of stuff and literally furniture and things piled on top of one another. The place smells of mothballs and lots of old things. If you're planning to stay here, please make sure to bring lots of water with you because what comes out of the tap stinks so badly (sulfur, methane??) I had trouble taking a shower, much less wanting to cook with that.
Overall, Ina's house was at best an okay place to sleep while skiing in Bellayre.
