TJ's house does perfect justice to its absolutely extraordinary, jaw-dropping setting. The house itself is elegant, spacious and immaculate, with a luxurious refinement and finesse that, despite the extremely tony surroundings, is by no means stuffy. I was concerned before I came whether the commute would be worth it for my brief visit; once I was there, the concern felt laughable, and the real question, still unresolved, was whether it was worth leaving. One consolation, though, if you do leave: the walk to Dalkey is unforgettably glorious.
My family and I stayed here while I was on a stopover from the US. My family is based in Galway and I only had one night in Dublin before flying onwards to London. We had originally planned to stay in the city but decided against it after learning the hotels had all hiked their rates on account of the Garth Brooks concerts (which didn't go ahead in the end). If you don't know already Killiney is a lovely location by the sea, close to the quaint village of Dalkey. We only had 36 hours together but we managed to squeeze a lot in between lunch in the Tramyard Café, Dalkey, a walk up Killiney hill, dinner in the Guinea Pig in Dalkey and a pint of Guinness in Finnegan's. We even managed to squeeze in a nap in the house in the evening! Overall I would rate this property highly in terms of location and comfort. I felt like I was staying over with a close family friend. The house itself is very charming, but the value add of staying here is the tranquillity of the location and proximity to nearby Dalkey village.
Very pleasant stay in a beautiful house and a lovely welcoming family. Killiney is also a very good place to stay and travel around in the Dublin county . Don't hesitate to come over to this house for some days ! Isabelle F.

We stayed with 5 women at Tj's B&(website hidden) gave us a warm welcome and an excellent stay.
No doubt we would come back again.
A beautiful part of Dublin. It's 25 minutes on the DART into the city centre. It's quite the walk back from the station to the house as its a very steep walk. The house is a charming old house and it's a nice place to stay for a few nights. A busy family home, with plenty of character. The main bedroom is beautiful.

It was our last 2 nights in Ireland and we had the GREAT chance to book TJ's rooms. What a fantastic experience! A beautifull victorian house, a gorgeous room looking over the bay with a large and comfotable antique bed and overall a very nice, sweet and interesting and generous host who took really care of us, with delicate gifts and good advices. We highly recommend the B&B of TJ-Tracy who will do her best to make your stay more than agreable: a unique experience. Tracy Let us see you soon Tracy!
Although we arrived late in the evening, we had a warm welcome. Tracey was very helpful in explaining us the neighborhood. The house is very nice and spacious. From our room we had a magnificent view to the sea and Wicklow mountains. The DART station is just a 10 minute walk away, hence there is a good connection to Dublin city center. We can recommend Tracey's lovely home highly.
