I'm a graduate student at Vanderbilt University, studying the cognitive neuroscience of agents (i.e. how we recognize that something has a mind). I'm from Oklahoma originally, but my heart belongs to New Orleans. I'm pretty eclectic and have experience in everything from bartending to criminal justice. I enjoy outdooring, theater, karaoke, and multiculturalism. I don't smoke, love pets, eat little and could sleep in a cardboard box.
Travel-wise, I tend to bounce around between science conferences. For that reason I won't spend a great deal of any stay at a single place.
Fun topics of future conversation (hopefully!): world religion, film theory, criminal investigation, comic books, robots, the art of the cocktail, and folk Americana.
