Great apartment. Super clean, very close to Central Park. Would stay here again.
The reservation was canceled 34 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Excellent location and beautiful apartment. Perfect place just to kick back and relax in the city and close to a lot of main attractions.
Nice house in a great location. The host was very helpful and communicative. Only one major problem: There definitely had been a cat in the house recently, which was not mentioned in the description. My girlfriend is allergic to cats and spent the weekend stuffed up and sneezing as a result. That's really something that should have been warned about in the description. So just be warned if you have a cat allergy. Otherwise, great place and highly recommended.
This location was great. The condo was really great. Full of natural light, open space.
We traveled with 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Surprisingly, we had enough space but I would only recommend 2-4 guests in this unit unless you are really close. Again, for us, it was great.
I didn't realized that Shane was living in the unit and all of his personal items were there including food in the fridge. Traveling with 4 children, I planned to cook breakfast each day but it was tough to do. NOt a big deal just noting for another guest that that is the situation.
Otherwise, the unit was clean enough (I'm a clean freak so almost nothing meets my standards). Location was great. 9th Avenue is loaded with great restaurants.
If you like Mexican, try El Centro, Indian try Aaheli, Italian try Stecchino, Continental try Eatry...just to name a few.
The air mattress we were given kept deflating, that was a problem for my youngest son who woke up on the hardwood floor each morning :-)
The doormen were always very professional and kind.
Shane's place in Beacon is GREAT. It came fully equipped with everything one could need and then some. Also, it's very convenitent to pretty much everything in Beacon. I was without a car during my stay. The cab to the house from the train station was $7, but we ended up walking to literally everything we did for the weekend. Shane was a highly responsive host and made check in and check out easy as cake. I will definitely try to stay here next time i'm in Beacon and I would definitely recommend this place as a weekend getaway for anyone trying to get out of NYC.
Shane's house in Beacon is super charming and cozy. The working fireplace in the living room was wonderful to relax in front in the evening and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. It made for a great weekend getaway with a small group of friends.
The location is the best for somebody who wants to be near everything (Hell's Kitchen, Times Square, Central Park) but also in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was exactly as it looks in the pics, clean, nice and cosy. Definitely a great spot for visiting NY.
Wow beautiful apartment, amazing light, heavenly shower, great host, everything was perfect !!!
Shane was a very nie guest. Hope to see him soon
The communication was kind of difficult at first
after that ok
Shane has been an excellent guest. He had a hard time trying to organize his trip, but he finally did it, and we tried to help him in everything that we could to make his first visit to Uruguay and Punta del Este a nice experience. We know that Punta is a bit expensive now, but it worth it, because the mix of nice people, infraestructure, and nature that we can offer to the world is really nice, Welcome everybody to Punta del Este, in Uruguay
Shane, before being an excellent guest is also a perfect host, as you can see from the reviews it has received.
It 'been a privilege to have him in the house, his willingness and kindness typical of people who use home exchange has helped to make everything perfect.
We hope to return with our visit into his wonderful city and to see him again
See you soon. Ciao
