Jonathan, I think when you made your reservation you must have mistaken my clearly marked GUEST HOUSE with some other. It is an entire guest house, loft style complete with kitchen. There is NO WHERE that says I'm a "yogi instructor". I think once again you are confused. I don't even practice yoga, so I'm not sure where are getting your info. Too bad for that you found guest house is "shabby". The other guests seem to have loved it, if you read the reviews. There are photos online that YOU saw showing the bedroom is open, loft style. You left the place like a pig stye, and I notice that you didn't mention that you broke anything. I sent photos to airbnb of how you left the place....I think they speak for themselves. It was shocking. No one else has felt so self entitled and disrespectful.
Isabelle, it is customary to alert the host if the place is not up to your standards...which you should have done BEFORE taking it upon yourself to clean.
Secondly, I contacted you about putting the TV in....and you didn't respond right away, hence being respectful, I waited for your response. The new TV sat in the garage while waiting for your response as to when it would be convenient for you for me to come and install. Finally, for someone that is so concerned with cleanliness I am wondering how you left a stain on the white sofa of either sharpie, pen or mascara and failed to notice it, or let me know that you had left such a mark. I have had MANY airbnb and other guests. Even with the white sofa, NO ONE has ruined it, until you. Not sure how airbnb wants to handle this. I have a photo and will get a statement from the guest that was there just before you that it was not there upon her arrival or departure. Yes you are correct that a clean apartment is a minimum,,,and respecting hosts expensive furniture is a MUST !!! Communication is also important...and had you let me know about any of it, it would have been better.
