My name is Rosa, born and bred in Andalusia and resident of Granada for some 30 years. I have been renting out rooms in my house for twenty years, which has given me the opportunity to get to know people from all around the world and from many different cultures.
I love speaking to people from other countries, in Spanish, but also in English and French. I am university educated and have experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, so if you are here to learn Spanish, I would be happy to help you.
Many of my guests say that the best way to gain fluency in Spanish is by means of a relaxed chat over an evening meal. If you are interested in this option, just ask! I'd be happy to oblige.
I hope to make you feel comfortable and at home in my house. Many of my guests have become good friends and have returned to Granada many times over the years. You can see what some of them have said about their stay on the recommendations page of my site Rosa's Homestay in Granada, and below you will see the more recent ones from airbnb visitors.
I look forward to welcoming you soon in Rosa's B&B Homestay.
This page is managed by my good friend Simon. He's English, and he speaks Spanish and German, and Norwegian. He has lived in Granada for twenty years and knows the city better than most. He has a strong interest in local history and is particularly well informed about the Andalusian poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
